A general rule, though not steadfast, is that fragrances with heavier basenotes likes amber and resins tend to keep for longer and citrus top notes tend to degrade more quickly.
I’ve been obsessed with Blanc Polychrome this summer - it’s perfect for the scorchers we’ve been having. I love that the dry down is just as fresh and clean as the top, even as the citrus notes fade away

I never thought a perfume tray was worth it, but I started doing a weekly one a month ago and it has been great. Rather than grab and go like I was doing, I actually put some thought into what I have been ignoring lately, what I need to try more to see if it is a love or just a like, etc. It has been fun, and helped me to share the love in my collection.

OMG Le Wild is the most photorealistic gardenia fragrance out there, gorgeous gourgeous fragrances my dear! 😍😍😍😍😍

Hi Veronica, if you haven't read The Perfect Scent by Chandler Burr, you might find it very interesting. It's about the creation of a few fragrances, from start to finish, one being Un Jardin Sur Le Nil (Another is SJP Lovely). I was fascinated by everything I learned in this book. It may give you more motivation to wear that fragrance.

I love my ambre vanille by Laura mercier and the older bottles , the formula is better in those. Thats what I have. I’ve seen the newer bottles and the scent is weaker. I want to get the Micheal malul Kandy 💓

Dolce Garden is such a gem. My bottle of SJP Lovely needs some love this month. I forgot how much I loved that fragrance. I also want to wear Hedonist Iris by Viktoria Minya, an underrated cold Iris fragrance, and Stella by Tocca, which reminds me a lot of the old-school Britney Spears Curious perfume! 💖

I love my ambre vanille by Laura mercier and the older bottles , the formula is better in those. Thats what I have. I’ve seen the newer bottles and the scent is weaker.

Dolce Garden is such a gem. My bottle of SJP Lovely needs some love this month. I forgot how much I loved that fragrance. I haven't tried Velvet Chocolate, but looking at the notes, I suggest trying a vanilla heavy fragrance to layer it with.

Hi Donna, I have never tried the original, so I can't say. The notes appear quite different though. Perhaps someone who has tried both can weigh in on this comment.
