Seriously thank you for these videos. It's inspired me not only to practice my act times, but also reminded me that PoE is a game about customization at it's core. I really don't need to set my mind to follow every specific line of a guide, but more over think about what's optimal in a given situation and make my own decisions when it comes to a build. TLDR: Thanks for giving me the motivation to learn the game again instead of mindlessly following a guide. (Not that it's a horrible thing for the people that do)
I hope Part 3 was worth the wait and fun to watch! Now with Patch Notes imminent and a history of nerfs to popular builds, it’s worth emphasizing that things may change. a) bow good b) bow popular c) popular = nerf or “rebalance” I'm personally expecting either small or drastic changes, but am hoping for buffs =]
I was gonna go RF or Bonshatter jugg for my second ever league start then I realised mirage archer and LA was a thing, then promptly said fuck that shi… time to go fast😊
yes please, more videos like this one. Step by step progression really helps a new player understand how PoE problem-solving works, and hopefully they'll be able to decide on their own how to adjust future builds to their needs
Thank you for the great series, its nice to see actual example of progression from start to endgame, most guides just handhold through leveling and then its do whatever you want. Im trying a playstyle of not just "don't get hit" but also "don't get close" with maybe burning arrow or burning arrow+ice shot even. I'm not in a level of creating builds so this series helped a ton.
Really like seeing how people at the top end run the atlas when progressing thanks, along with your levelling guides has really helped me not waste my time :D
There is no one that min-maxes videos like you do. I really appreciate how to-the-point you are. It's a long video, but there's no fluff in it. Just pure game knowledge. I've been playing since closed beta but still learned a thing or two.
Coming to this series late, I just have to say: I wish there was more of this for PoE! I'm sure it was a ton of work to put this together, but this format where you don't just talk about *what* you do, but more importantly focus on *why* is so good. So many players learn the what without ever learning the why - which is the part that really matters if you want to be adaptive and constantly improving.
I'm going with this Atlas Tree on launch. The essence and shrines combo works great, Kirac does a great job of helping complete all maps and running delirium on the side makes for some great xp. I'm just going to add 3 extra points to spec into Bribery early on. The extra veiled item drops help speed up the gearing process by a lot.
Comparing this to a caustic arrow or poison concoction playstyle, the additional clear from far shot made me get hit much less often and I had very few deaths in total. I really like the manaforged setup.
Great video! I bet it was fun for you to try this. For me it'd be a pain to do it on league start. Bows are good at leveling and mapping but they still suck at bossing imo, so they shouldn't be nerfed. It's just that the playstyle of mines, minions, totems, etc can't be compared to bows because they're slow and a pain so people enjoy it less. Keep it up with the good content!
I really like champion for LA + manaforged shenanigans. Yeah we don't have far shot and the extra proj, but the compensation is adequate. The weapon swap is also not so dreadful. I almost expect champion to get hit with nerfs, especially the adrenaline gain.
this was an LA run -- I will do other skills. TS sounds interesting, in the past it was noticeably weaker on low investment, but definitely worth a fresh test.
Great content for sure! I have a question - are you interested in doing this progression series as a summoner build? Like srs? And if not can you recommend somebody who can help out with minion builds progression?
I'm definitely interested in SRS! (especially if it survives patch notes) and Guardian in general. Not sure who I would look at specifically for progression but there are many endgame content creators (PhazePlays, Subtractem, Ghazzy)
Hey, really love your video. What do you think about ice shot? Is it just simply inferior version of lightning arrow now. Also i think it could be worth mentioning the kirac div card strat to fish multiple chains that bind set if some people hate farming the dungeon.
I believe Vaal Ice Shot is worthy of a run on its own, I would also build it slightly differently, can compare after! Kirac Maps for full Divination Card sets is definitely a great call.
What do you think about switching Frenzy for Blast Rain and adding the Frenzy on Hitting Marked Target? Wouldn't it be a worthy tradeoff, 1 point passive for better Single target?
who is this guy, telling me to build defensives? WHERE IS HAVOC? BLINK TWICE IF YOU'RE HELD HOSTAGE!!! good video, personally i still prefere the ballista setup over stormrain. all you need is a small 4 point investment (watchtowers)
Why not get a 6L from Dunes? Or is Imperial Bow a poopoo base Edit: nvm checked the crit on it lol I'd rather farm Dunes regardless to vendor those bows for 20 fusings each.. Than f'ing Cells
I much prefer Manaforged setups over Totem setups. Totems can potentially offer more single target but will be lower than POB dps if they die a lot. QOL is definitely much higher on Manaforged as it's just one less thing to focus on. Defence should be comparable for both but one can argue that Totems can be used to tank / distract monsters (which can be useful during early prog).

Been a fan forever, played PoE since beta, and am still learning thanks to you! Keep it up for the casuals that need a helping hand
I very much appreciated this series, thank you for making it.
glad to see some guides. hope no nerfs inc

Havoc. This was an INSANE content. Gz.
Glad to hear that LA was buffed a bit since tons of other skills were all nerfed.
in softcore not really, nerfed with unique changes while mapping. But overall you become stronger again with second ascendancy etc.
Love the content, dude! From start to finish, absolutely the best way to showcase characters.
Awesome video!
Thank you the insight.
man i love it thank you for the jam 😀

..well, disregard what I said about nerfs. We are playing champion, baby!
Very interesting, I'm not even league starting la but i was curious how you would kill maven on that build
I riews manaforge all arrows (burning, ice, caustic, galvanic) and using lighting as a main and it's pretty good.
I am a noob, can someone explain why in the video it is 3 arrows of lightning arrow when he uses barrage support?? And what does hydrosphere do?!
Great video. how many cats did you guys se? i found 4.
Thanks you thanks you
Why still play LA so late? TS becomes better even before eater/exarch. Just swap out chain support for bosses.

at what point would you say TS is better?
