Llumar is ALWAYS going to have the teal number. they had it since their first race. apparently the Rush tow trucks are gray and black now.

Hey Eric, John Cohen, the owner of NY Racing, put out a video showing the team's hauler which looks really cool, meaning that they willbe trying to attempt to qualify for this year's Daytona 500!
Noah Gragsons new scheme for the 500 might have just shot up to like top 3 easily for me glad to see he’s getting sponsors back and as someone who loves the outdoors that car is so fire
The Jimmie Johnson scheme would be the best on the grid if the Carvana logo on the hood did not have that blue circle background. I understand it's for corporate reasons and their marketing department probably requires that the logo MUST be on their specific blue-colored background. But it would've worked so much better if they had put the same white logo straight onto the hood without the slightly-different blue background. Possibly with an outline of the circle in white. Having 2 blues that are SO similar is very jarring when you look up close. Maybe if they put a border to separate the circle blue from the rest of the Petty blue it would look a bit cleaner. It's good, but I think it could have been made AMAZING with a few touch ups.

My 2 favorites so far are Chastain's Busch Light scheme and Buescher's Fastenal scheme!

Can we run a pole on the best female stars to match with NASCAR drivers to raise the sports profile? Ty Gibbs & Billie Elvish , Chase Elliot & Olivia Rodrigo, Martin Truex Jr. & Miley Cyrus Etc. After what weathertech has done in imsa with the Porsche 911 RSR, Mercedes-AMG GT and Porsche 963 no surprise they show up with a clean scheme for NASCAR too.

I like Christopher Bell's Mobil 1 scheme because it looks like it could just as easily be a Toyota scheme. There's a nice synergy there with the new-for-2024 black livery used by Toyota Gazoo Racing in WEC, WRC, Dakar, etc. If they were to turn up to a race with that slick-looking, interlocking white and red GR logo taking the place of the Mobil 1 script on the hood and fenders (we can keep the roof logo and for sure the pegasus), then we really would have a winner.
I'll also ad that last year's Mobil 1 car for J. H. Nemechek in the Xfinity series looked exactly like a popsicle.
Elliotts NAPA, Hooters, and Chastain's Busch are by far my favorite schemes of the year. Amazing!

Fun video, and I appreciate that you recognize personal taste in art. My grades would have been very different. For example, I would have the Busch Light scheme in This Works, the Columbia car in Job Well Done, the Ally car in Something Bugs Me, and the Red-White-Blue Valvoline car in Groovy. Bryon’s Axalta scheme was edited. They removed that black square in the rear where axalta is and now axalta is in black letters.
Bowman's is groovy for sure, that was a miss. I absolutely agree with you on Elliotts clash car, all blue with no yellow would have been so much better. Oh yes, this exists had me dying on Gragson, LOL

Somewhat new to the channel. I’ve heard you mention you were/are a Matt Kenseth fan. Do you have a driver you support now?
It’s been difficult for me since J Gordon retired. I followed him since I was a kid and I haven’t had a driver click since. I’ve thought about just sticking with the 24 team regardless of driver but I do like Chastain a lot too
Of course my boy #9 all three schemes, but that #7 Celsius/CoryLaJoy is a sweet looker also.

Admittedly I’m a Harvick fan, but Chastain’s Busch scheme isn’t some magical revelation to me. It looks like one of the throwback schemes

Idk why but i love chastains moose liveries always look good. Idk what about it looks good to me but it always does. Same with alot of suarez's schemes. Trackhouse knows what their doing with those schemes.

I know why you like the 71 car. It is vaguely reminiscent of the 26 wonder bread car of Talladega Nights with the colors. It just screams a winner.
I love red cars. Hard to believe one is in underwhelming. I like the bright green Hunt Brothers. The colors mesh in Interstate. liked it better with Harvick behind the wheel. I like any bright car because they’re easy to follow. The Hooters car is too orange/rust for me.
Pizza or any food (won’t have any more bacon) doesn’t look good on anything. Keep the bright green, easy to follow, especially when you’re there at night and can’t zoom in on little details

Eric, can teams choose to increase the size and placement of a sponsor decal, for a race like the Daytona 500 and not ask them for any money? Do it to make the car look better, giving the sponsor more exposure for free? Do it just because at a race, kind of a thank you? I’ve always wonders about those smaller logos and what could be done, to eventually get the sponsor to add more money.

Chastain’s Busch light so far is the best! Chase Elliott’s hooters scheme last year was better. The added orange not a fan of it. I’ve said for years the hunt brothers schemes aren’t bad just a bad base color. It needs to be red like Harvicks car he drove at Texas 2022 and martinsville last year

I feel like we are coming out of the dark age of generic paint schemes from around 2019-2022. Teams are starting to establish their own styles. Not quite back to the levels of the iconic late 90s early 2000s designs but definitely a step up fron recent years.

For me, Ross Chastain's 2022 Advert Health paint scheme and Ryan Preece's United Rental paint scheme are the paint schemes that I'll never forget

The Jordan schemes always look kind of sharp.
Art is definitely subjective. I thought the 20 Mobil one was a train wreck. And I didn’t like the 11 Sport Clips. But I still would have put the 20 Dewalt up in Groovy tier.
I would say the only one that I really didn't agree with is Truex's Bass Pro Shop it barely changes year to that is under whelming to me at this point as well as most Bass Pro Shop paint schemes.
nemechek's dollar tree scheme would've been way better with a black base even if it goes against the dollar tree colors. the green blends into the white a little too much imo
The C Bell Mobil 1 scheme is my Favorite that. Black and Red on the new Toyota body make it look like a beast

1:30 ok hear me out, Dewalt makes tools that require electricity, they either plug in or use batteries, so the electricity makes sense
I kinda hate the new 48. It’s too messy. I see what they were going for, but it’s not a consistent camo, and they just took the scheme choices from the homestead fan design contest and made it a full scheme. Idk why the primary year round has palm trees on it
i definitely disagree with the sports clips car. but that busch light scheme is a certified G+. I think you're underrating the blaster #34.
I’m sure everyone noticed ALL OF THE BLANK SPACE on so many cars! These designers on not designing very good paint schemes.
