Hunting Child Predators | My Life Online

  • Since the show, “To Catch a Predator” went off the air, a corner of CZcams has taken up the mantle: posing as underage kids online, waiting for older men to send sexually explicit messages and then filming a confrontation with the men in public. The Dads Against Predators duo has been making this content for years but is particularly controversial because law enforcement has publicly denounced them, telling them to leave this work to the professionals.
In this episode of My Life Online, we shine a light on the grey area this content inhabits. Are these vigilante CZcams creators helping expose predators or making it more difficult for law enforcement to do their jobs? Are they potentially saving lives or just risking their own?

After his death i found out that his dad my grandpa had sold all nine of my aunts and uncles when they were younger for sex to the local police. My grandfather also was sexually and physically abusive. Out of the nine kids him and my grandma had two females died before they were a year old. Rumor has it that my grandpa murdered them. In the 40s and 50s it was easy to pass it off as crib death. One of my aunts informed me of this. This same aunt told me that my dad would rape here still to the day this was when i was 18 and before he died. Its also a fact my dad and his brothers still had sex with one another even into adult hood. Demons are real people.

The high school I went to in Ohio had a new vice principal my senior year. Then a few years after I graduated, the FBI busted him by pretending to be a father pimping out their 8 year old girl. The transcript they released of the conversations between the guy and the FBI agent (while they were undercover) was horrifying. I'm glad he was caught, but he had been with the school district for 7 years by that point. And this wasn't the first time an employee of the district was convicted as a predator either.
I'm relieved that the former vice principal was caught and is serving 12 years in prison, but all of this is to say that predators are everywhere. Including places you're assured that your children will be safe in. For the FBI agent in this video to say they don't want or need the help, when it took them years to bust a predator that worked for a community of hundreds of minors, is insane.

Their work is making these creeps second guess doing what they do. Not only is the police searching for these individuals, but also so is DAP and other amazing groups! I cant stand how the police officer in this is making it seem like its about the money and views in such a negative way. It is about the views to let the communities know about these creeps! It is a full time job doing this. The money from exposing them online helps with the cost of meeting up with these weirdos. To go undercover and to convince these people that they are real life kids, takes time and effort that probably consists of them working all day, it also helps DAP to take care of their families. If that's the polices biggest concern with DAP then maybe they should hire Josh and Jay to work close with them to expose and charge these creeps!
