- Jesus declared that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church (Matt 16:18). This classic clip from Dr. Lester Sumrall (along with a specific prophecy about the media in the last days) he teaches that there are millions of people who do not realize the actual presence, personality, and power of the devil. Others are like the proverbial ostrich that wishes to hide their heads in the sand and deny the existence of Satan altogether, or they protest that he should be neither discussed nor disturbed. Whether or not we believe it, Satan exists and desires to destroy God's creation. The Church must stand up to this enemy, knowing that "If God be for us, who can be against us!" (Rom. 8:31) Christ said, "Go ye into all the world.... Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils.... Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end... (Mark 16:15; Matt. 10:8; 28:20). Every formidable fortress of Satan falls flat before the legions of the redeemed who march victoriously under the banner of Christ's cross. This is a portion of the message he delivered at the 1995 Dominion Camp Meeting with Pastor Rod Parsley.

A man who really trusted Jesus with simple faith . Jesus miraculously healed him from Tuberculosis at the age of 17, a few weeks later, he went and preached the Gospel to local farmers and made his way to preach to many countries of the world with no money to start with..that's living by Faith..he didn't store wealth like many prosperity preachers today
God's preachers shouldn't be broke. God is not broke! He is RICH! AND SO ARE HIS! But, we are not to abuse it, we are to share with others because we know our source is endless! If our Father is rich? What about his children? Yes some abuse it. We are not perfect. But God records it so dont trouble yourself about it. Vengance is his. They will have to account for it. But we have ALL THINGS! And ALL THINGS ARE YOURS! Just use it right and dont abuse it! His word says it and we are to believe it and act accordingly. Some men are rich others are poor. Who has studied to make themselves ready to handle such riches? Who can God trust with riches?

If that were so, then today's churches wouldn't be so off coarse with false doctrines and sleepiness of mind. Ill equiped and without life. Largely Unvisited by God, and filled with pride and unbelief.

Resisting the devil and the world is only part of it. We're at war with our own flesh too (Galatians 5:17).

I have been walking and casting out demons for 36 years. God raises servants in all generations another man of God . My first book was bitten by demons what a treasure of faith. At the great reunion we have eternity to fellowship. It is a honor to be used by God we His people.

Whenever you glorify any men as special “generals” causes others not to think
They can do the same because it puts certain men on a pedestal. God looks at all of us the same for we are ALL equal to GOD for HE is not like men who favor one child over another. We are ALL TO BE FULL OF THE FULLNESS OF GOD AND BE THE VESSEL IF YOU WILL NOT QUENCH THE SPIRIT. This is what Lester is trying to get across. Do you think that any saint in heaven is glorifying any other saint in heaven? Absolutely not. We ONLY GLORIFY THE FATHER AND THE SON JESUS for we are only all the vessels to be used by Holy Spirit. This is why the army of GOD did not grow and this nation is in serious trouble.

As it is true and no lie..... And a mustard seed is a very very VERY tiny solid piece of tangible evidence..... Yet there are some who have large tangible pieces of evidence from the Kingdom of The Living God. So, if the majority of the people have no evidence of Kingdom, how can they go out preaching and win the lost? Today's churches are more like giant train wrecks.

This kind of preaching takes me back to my childhood. I remember the old school elderly World War 2 generation of preachers.
Sadly in much of today's Churches, with the younger generations of Generation X and Millennials behind the pulpit, many Churches are about hip hop music, bright lights flashing around, way too much $ spent on sound equipment & entertainment, people pigging out, playing with their technology toys; many preachers just talking about pep talks, sports, current trends & fads.....
It seems so many of the modern churches today are like sports bars and secular theatres just without the cussing & alcohol.
