I used to have that problem! The thing is, when you put two pads on top of each other it kind of makes it worse because there is more space so it isn’t as tight a fit. I’ve just started using reusable period underwear from Modi Bodi! I like using the boy short ones because they feel more secure. Most times I wear a pad with the underwear at the same time, but recently I’ve found out that using no pad at all is much easier. They literally save my sanity :)

I also wear only thongs on my period because i hate it when i lay down a few minutes to relax, it comes through my buttocks all the way up to my back and obviously stain everything underneath 😢 that does not happen when wearing thongs, but also, often bathroom checks are required, maybe pee everytime, or at least sit a minute on the toilet to push it all out, as soon as you find the time to do so

Some things people never told me that I would’ve known. Ultimately if you have questions, ask the adult with a period in your life for tips. 1: on your period, your bowels may get a little finicky. It may get harder or easier to go or fluctuate. It’s a normal thing that happens, if it does don’t be concerned 2: not all cramps feel the same. I’ve known people who get pain, and other who feel more nausea than pain. As time goes you may get worse cramps or maybe you won’t get them at all 3: irregularities. Some people just have an irregular cycle others don’t. If it is now, it may take some time to level out. Though if you think you may be starting soon- take the pad/ tampon. Put it on before you got to sleep. Irregular can also refer to how heavy( at least in my experience) so don’t take the chance. 4. They can be affected by stress and diet.TW….. not to scare but to inform. I was never told this and when I learned it by myself I was so scared. if you’re not eating enough or are too stressed, you can temporarily lose your period. My point being, your period can reflect your health sometimes. If you don’t have any big changes or stressful situations (school, family, friends) and your period very suddenly changes and becomes way more painful than normal, say something. It very well could be nothing but if it’s bothering and concerning you, speak up and ask

@@brumous9364 I have more blood than that since I have PCOS and super heavy periods and ive never had blood underneath a pad in my underwear ever in the 26 years of using pads. Pads don't leak through. They are made not to. So it is impossible for blood to be under any pad unless you use the old school cloth pads. All pads you buy at the store are leak proof even the organic ones are leak proof. I've had my pads be full in the night and blood got in my underwear and pants because the pad was full so it couldn't hold any more blood so the blood went everywhere. But blood does not go through a pad, blood only falls out of a pad when full or you aren't wearing that right size pad for your flow. You can't be on day one of your period wearing a thin panty liner and then be shocked blood is everywhere because it's full in an hour or for me 5-10 mins.
this is not intended as hate, but i think you should put a simple warning for just blood in general, because some people aren’t comfortable with seeing any blood at all, and can even faint. other than that, i love love LOVE the genuine videos you make ❤️❤️

My concern is a lot of people do have a fear of blood…including myself and any form of blood makes me want to vomit or pass out. So I don’t mean to say period blood isn’t normal, cause it is but- fear of blood is also normal and it’s inconsiderate to show your period blood without a warning to those who do have a chronic fear of blood- this is also why period commercials don’t show blood, and or red fluids! It isn’t because they think it’s gross or unclean, it’s because people are triggered by blood, not just period blood, but all blood. Think about it, do any other commercials show blood? And or fake blood? It’s not just feminine hygiene being “censored” it’s all material being publicly broadcasted. Disagree or agree I’m just saying I personally don’t agree with this, it’s bodily waste, are we going to start showing urine and fecal matter in diaper commercials!? I met a 45 year old man the other day who genuinely and honestly thought that women leak blue fluid like in the commercials during their period. I was in the process of explaining to him why I couldn't do something, because I didn't have any tampons and pads wouldn't have worked because I was going to get wet, and he told me not to worry because it was a blue pool and I was wearing blue and no one would ever notice. Some things people never told me that I would’ve known. Ultimately if you have questions, ask the adult with a period in your life for tips.
1: on your period, your bowels may get a little finicky. It may get harder or easier to go or fluctuate. It’s a normal thing that happens, if it does don’t be concerned
2: not all cramps feel the same. I’ve known people who get pain, and other who feel more nausea than pain. As time goes you may get worse cramps or maybe you won’t get them at all
3: irregularities. Some people just have an irregular cycle others don’t. If it is now, it may take some time to level out. Though if you think you may be starting soon- take the pad/ tampon. Put it on before you got to sleep. Irregular can also refer to how heavy( at least in my experience) so don’t take the chance.
4. They can be affected by stress and diet.TW….. not to scare but to inform. I was never told this and when I learned it by myself I was so scared. if you’re not eating enough or are too stressed, you can temporarily lose your period.
My point being, your period can reflect your health sometimes. If you don’t have any big changes or stressful situations (school, family, friends) and your period very suddenly changes and becomes way more painful than normal, say something. It very well could be nothing but if it’s bothering and concerning you, speak up and ask

@@brumous9364 I have more blood than that since I have PCOS and super heavy periods and ive never had blood underneath a pad in my underwear ever in the 26 years of using pads.
Pads don't leak through. They are made not to. So it is impossible for blood to be under any pad unless you use the old school cloth pads. All pads you buy at the store are leak proof even the organic ones are leak proof.
I've had my pads be full in the night and blood got in my underwear and pants because the pad was full so it couldn't hold any more blood so the blood went everywhere.
But blood does not go through a pad, blood only falls out of a pad when full or you aren't wearing that right size pad for your flow.
You can't be on day one of your period wearing a thin panty liner and then be shocked blood is everywhere because it's full in an hour or for me 5-10 mins.

My concern is a lot of people do have a fear of blood…including myself and any form of blood makes me want to vomit or pass out. So I don’t mean to say period blood isn’t normal, cause it is but- fear of blood is also normal and it’s inconsiderate to show your period blood without a warning to those who do have a chronic fear of blood- this is also why period commercials don’t show blood, and or red fluids! It isn’t because they think it’s gross or unclean, it’s because people are triggered by blood, not just period blood, but all blood. Think about it, do any other commercials show blood? And or fake blood? It’s not just feminine hygiene being “censored” it’s all material being publicly broadcasted. Disagree or agree I’m just saying I personally don’t agree with this, it’s bodily waste, are we going to start showing urine and fecal matter in diaper commercials!? Because that’s normal too, everyone eliminates waste. But we don’t publish it on media because it’s gross. There are also people who experience PTSD episodes, and have a trama response to blood, people who watched a loved one bleed, fought in wars, people who bled themselves, people who watched other die from loss of blood! These people exist! That’s why blood isn’t shown, it’s because there are others on these apps who suffer from the trama or fear of blood.
My own personal reason was watching a giant window fall out of place and onto my chaperones head, she almost died that day from loss of blood and concussion, and watching this made me pass out.
Stories like these are why people fear blood or have trauma responses to it.

My best friend struggled with the same fears, and when she was on her own period she would struggle with the site of blood. I met a 45 year old man the other day who genuinely and honestly thought that women leak blue fluid like in the commercials during their period. I was in the process of explaining to him why I couldn't do something, because I didn't have any tampons and pads wouldn't have worked because I was going to get wet, and he told me not to worry because it was a blue pool and I was wearing blue and no one would ever notice. Like literally arguing with me when I told him no, we're BLEEDING during our periods. I thought he was joking at first. He wasn't. Stuff like this needs to become normalized, the amount of misinformation that people have is really scary.

I imagine it could be triggering for some who have PTSD or phobias. Lol it’s just blood…we all have it…aren’t you tired of seeing the commercials with that fake blue dye crap we don’t even know what it is and they lie in commercials because of what they use…your who ha is important. Everyone’s who has are important and I am a 29-year-old woman in my eyes. It’s just blood it’s not that big of a deal. I like the fact that her product clearly works and will save women the embarrassment of getting blood on their pants or having to change your underwear at work because you have blood on them it happens you know it does so maybe not look at the fact that you’re staring at blood don’t stare at the blood, but look at the fact that when she lifts it up, there’s no blood on the underwear and the product actually works and that’s the point of the video
