Hi, I'm currently a Swedish Institute student for the Massage Therapy 20 month program. I have always had a passion for anatomy AND physiology. I definitely want a career in massage therapy but, have also thought about continuing that education to Chiropractic work as well. Would I be able to continue smoothly into a program for Chiropractic work with ease from a career in massage therapy? I'll take this up with my school as well haha
Tony P That would definitely be a question for your school. I would think accredited course work would be able to apply to the second program, and the anatomy and physiology knowledge would translate. Definitely check with your school, and good luck in your academic pursuit!
a massage therapist or therapist of any kind has no place in chiropractic. sadly the profession is full of such people calling themselves chiropractors, largely the fault of the failure of so-called chiropractic colleges that do not provide a chiropractic education. genuine chiropractic by nature is the opposite of therapy/medicine in all it's forms, since it is focused solely on correction of cause, not treatment of symptoms.
