Some of Autechre's tracks are terrifying. This is one of them. Such a sense of dread, implied violence, darkness, helplessness. The scattered beats jump around like stray thoughts, or an imagined threat lurking in the shadows.
Gorgeous sound set. One doesn't need to consider this music to enjoy it. Sometimes it is gratifying to just have beautiful noises surround you. Really gets the imagination going! And inspires...
