Dimplex Ignite XL Bold 100 Inch Electric Fireplace DIY Build.

My husband built this build out wall for our electric fireplace which also has a hidden media storage behind the tv. He did the stone work as well. As you can see our F2 Savannah cats helped him too. It turned out beautiful.

This is amazing. I have the exact same unit built the same way with bricks wall for almost 1 year now. The unit didn't turn on after a power outage. I called the warranty department, they insisted to do a over the phone diagnosis and asked me to send them a picture of the unit wiring to the power source. I couldn''t access to the wire since the unit was hard wiring in. Did you have your unit hardwired or plugged in? if it is hardwired, do you leave an access door for the wiring exposure just in case a service is needed? thank you.
