Love seeing mountainboarding again in a longer video man, keep them coming 👌🏼 decent seeing the ATskateboard as well and it being compared to the mountainboard.
💪🤯👍YES!!! Super excited that you guys uploaded a video. I’ve been wanting to get into mountain boarding. Can’t wait till the day I get one. I’ll be uploading my adventure when the time comes. Stay safe out there gents & thank you for the awesome hang out!
One question, Are these 100mm wheels give you a faster ride on a skateboard compared to when attached to a longboard? Or is a mountain board faster? I intend to skate on ruff hard cemented flooring but i have to push a lot and my small skateboard wheels can't pick up no speed at all :(
Our 100mm All Terrain wheels are so much faster than normal skate wheels it's crazy. On rough concrete (like what you're saying) they're faster than standard mountainboard wheels, but not on dirt. Mountainboard wheels (pneumatic) are the way to go if you're riding anything off road (dirt, grass,...)
So I'm getting a board for when I walk my dog so she can sprint and I can get pulled along side her. Thing us I'd be riding through grass for most of the time as soon as summer hits (i live in AZ so avg 105-112 degrees during summer) will these ALL TERRAIN! wheels work with a long board ?
Maybe it’s a late answer but they work well in grass only down hill in or when you already have speed, shortly will stop, also is not easy to push on grass, the type of terrain shown of the video works great but grass grass is heavy for any board
how smooth are the all terrain wheels on brick sidewalks? I hate those sidewalks with my 70mm 78A surfskate and maybe it would be worth to change the wheels(+raiser pads). otherwise Mountainboard with waterbourne adapter for pumping is awesome i guess. (but expensive..) Somebody testet those wheels in the city?
Try 80mm wheels like kegels with some riser pads on your surfskate, these already go over almost everything. I don't know if Mountain boards can pump, but you can look into ldp bracket boards to pump 90mm-wheels being low lo the ground
@@giovannicolosi5058 I already tested a mountain board, they lose so much speed after just a few meters, impossible to pump (or push). I bought 83 mm 74A Flywheel wheels, they didn't work on my slide, because the wheels hit the bolts (so risers can't change that) 80 mm could be on the edge of working...but I bought the waterborne adapter which has more space for big wheels, if you tighten the RKP trucks up. I tested this truck setup on some decks, 42" longboard, short cruiser and skateboard. On the Cruiser...could be 31", it worked very nice. A nice Surfskate with endless grip and flex on the deck. On a longboard you get a heavy flagship with high pumping speed potential but if you become to slow, it will be hard to pump. And on the skateboard its very snappy, fun for tricks i guess but not so stable. Finally, i found, that nothing of that is fast enough on that brick sidewalks so i put the wheels on the longboard deck and yeah, use it as longboard. But i also got funny surfskates with this experiment, so my money wasn't wasted.
@@mbsmountainboards and half the fun gonna get these bad boys to put on my board and go the local bmx track NOBODY uses! Forget packed skate parks this is the new deal!
Aren't those quite limited because you can only stop by foot dragging(which isn't good for high speed)? I don't see how someone could slide to stop with them, especially the mountain board with large pneumatic tires.
both boards are able to slide stop (hockey stop) or powerslide to a stop. You just gotta practice a bit....dirt roads are good to practice on as you can easily throw out the back wheels to slide.

It would be cool to see you guys team up with Full Send electric skateboard and create a awesome matrix 3 DW esk8 mountain board 😎
That guy is nuts to be riding that on the dirt

Hi! What size of deck on which allterrain wheels are installed?
The deck is 8.5 🤘

Would the skateboard go faster on streets with a lot of tiles?
The AT wheels go really fast on anything that's hard, tiles, concrete, compacted dirt...

wait i thought the tires were all terrain? i saw one that said it did, huh, well now i know!:)
do the all terrain wheels work on grass?
I’ve tried it and yeah definitely
they work depending on how thick the grass is....but the 8" wheels work the best www.mbs.com/parts/13111-mbs-t1-tire-8-black-1
you need a true mountainboard for that though.

what shoes do you wear?
The best shoes have a flat sole and not a lot of cushion on the top of the foot.
