Being born and raised in London. I never actually married a man from here, there too westernised. I got married to a Pakistani from a village with morals, imaan and tradition who feared Allah but educated to a msc, who is stable. I actually met him here in 2012 when he came to do his masters. Alhamdurillah 10yrs married and blessed with a 3yo boy, only had one child as I was busy with my own bsc and msc degrees ❤ all the best guys.

I wish you both the best and its great that you havent changed your name, your name and identity does not judge you and I wish you both the best. I met people change their names to Arab names such as abu sulan ban ahmed and wear Arab clothing which abu jahl wore and christian arabs wear which is cultural clothes, you can still be shane, wear modest western clothing and be a good muslim, wish you both the best and all the love and happiness.

@@green1880 stop being Arabised, you remind me of them Arabs who live in the Middle East who think dressing like a westerner will get them business deals. The reason the prophet and the sahaba wore a sharwar is because they are Arabs and were living in the Middle East in a hot place and was Arab cultural clothing, imagine a person living in the north pole wearing a kamees he will look out of place, correct ? use logic , Christian Arabs wear a Kamees does that make them muslims ? so do atheist Arabs, so did the enemies of the prophet from abu jahl to abu lahb. Islam is about character and modesty not cultural clothing.

I think just taking yr shahadah is a big thing. Mashallah. No matter how long it has been since you converted to Islam, that doesn't mean you need to be a perfect Muslim. To be honest, for a person to be a perfect Muslim, they got to have a very high Imaan or be on the third level of Islam (Ihsaan). I am Muslim, was born in a Muslim family. As a young Muslim, it can be difficult to follow every rule, especially with the influence of others etc (I live in a non-Muslim country). V just have to continue making dua and asking Allaah to (continue to) guide us to the straight path and increase our faith in Him (Allaah). Thanks, sorry for any confusion

Abu Nu’aym reported: Al-Fudayl ibn ‘Iyad, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “If you can get by without being known, do so. What is it against you if you are not praised? What is it against you that people blame you but to Allah you are praiseworthy?”

    Salaams, I'm from the States.
You guys just popped up in my feed. First vid I'm seeing. I couldn't guess your ethnicities just by looking. I'm not sure what typical Irish people look like. Is it pale and red hair?
Shane looks like a regular white guy from any country. Fatima could be middle Eastern, Turkish, Persian, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, but wouldn't have guessed Pakistani.
