    Try UV resin for the tiny, crushed ice on the rim. That should hold for ya. Also get a butter knife or metal stir stick and put it right where that slide piece on the lid starts to narrow and twist it and that piece should pop right out. I would have left out the Styrofoam and used UV resin. With the Styrofoam you can see the white thru the ice and the hot glue makes it look cloudy. Melted ice is clear, not cloudy. Overall they look great! I love your ice selection and all of the fruit. I use UV resin. I got lemons, oranges, limes, cherries, blueberries and strawberries. I also got 3 sizes of ice. I put my fruit slice on first and go from there. I just started with the whipped toppers. Don't get me started with those! I'm out of control lol

    Amazing. This is my first time watching your videos and I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical about them looking right, being your first time, but I must say, they came out beautifully. Also, I love the way you explained about the sizes of the ice. I've been wanting to make these and bought everything I need, except courage. I couldn't find the courage, until now. Thanks to your video, I will begin working on these this weekend. Thank you so much and keep up the good work. You got yourself a new sub.🎉 Have a great week and I look forward to watching more from you soon. 🤗💝

    Instead of a styrofoam ball, perhaps try those round, fillable plastic christmas ornaments. The two rounds snap together. This way you won’t lose the clarity of your “ice” cubes.

    Question for you - after you apply the glitter, did you say you spray with rustoleum? Is it a clear coat? How long after you put the epoxy glitter coat do you wait to spray? And then how long between sprays?

    • @ImperfectlyNiq
      @ImperfectlyNiq  Před 2 lety

      Great Question! Yes I spray them with a rustoleum clear coat. I usually glitter at night, allow to dry overnight, and then seal the following day. However, I realize that is not normal lol. Depending on the brand of epoxy you use, you will need to wait until the epoxy glitter coat is dry before spraying. Then I wait about 45mins between sprays and about an hour before the coat of epoxy. I hope this helps!

    Question: When washing these lids...will soap and water affect the styrofoam dome? Or fake ice and fruit?

    • @ImperfectlyNiq
      @ImperfectlyNiq  Před 3 lety

      I have not had an issue. However I am careful with handling the lid. I do not allow the lid to soak and just take a rag, that has been rung out, and wipe the lid on the bottom and over the ice. I hope this helps!
