I'm currently 15 weeks and I've still got zero appetite, everything makes me feel sick, luckily I'm not actually vomiting but that's as long as I stick to plain mostly beige food, cereal, peanut butter sandwiches and fruit are my current must haves. I can't really stomach much else, I thought I'd be eating so healthy but I've gone off almost all hot meals, meat, chicken and fish.

Not very often that my 1 year old isn’t awake when your videos premier, so what a treat to be able to watch it first thing in the morning with a cup of tea 🥰

    Things that helped me:
    Ice cold water/diet coke
Eating before getting out of bed
Not drinking wAter first thing in the morning
If the sickness is too bad speak to ur GP for some anti sickness
Always carry a snack with you
And a disposable bag if u randomly vomit

You are looking so beautiful Shan! I’m a midwife myself and you are definitely right, as long as it states “pregnancy multivitamin” they are all the same. Pregnacare is the well known brand and have a name for them self so people trust them but any shop own brand pregnancy multivitamin is as good. Another little tip I’ll give you that I just found myself when I had my morning sickness was lemon sherbet sweets 🍬 🍋 worked a treat for me 🙏🏼

Chocolate milkshakes, especially 'Yazoo' got me through sickness when travelling, as it was the only drink that wasn't too sweet or acidic. i was told by the nurse to not have milkshake from McDonalds when pregnant as the machines risk listeria bacteria etc. My sickness was so bad through first and second trimester i had to have Cyclizine anti sickness tablets, it was so worth taking and helped me to eat more!

      @HomeWithShan  Před rokem +1

Oh gosh, we’ll I never knew that about McDonald’s haha!
But yeah, those cyclizine tablets were my real saviour for sickness haha! Xxx

I think taking each day as it comes is an important one too, I had a terrible pregnancy with my son mainly due to SPD, and found myself counting down the days. Embracing it and realising this is a small part of your life is soo important ❤️

I also found that pregnancare made me nauseous. I felt a lot better on store own brands pregnancy vitamins!! A lot cheaper and similiar ingredients x

Ready salted pringles. I had nausea from 6-14 weeks and being able to just grab a couple to munch on in work was great. They helped stop the nausea for about 2 hours early on and then at 10-12 weeks eating only stopped the nausea for about 30 mins - 1 hour so I was constantly munching on crisps x

You are definitely glowing now ✨️ 😍. I've just found out I'm pregnant with our 4th and last baby, nausea is bad already, I usually end up with HG so listening to your tips on reminding me of what I need to get to prepare again. Thinking of doing the sneak peek that you mentioned last video that I didn't even know existed, I think it's amazing you can find out the gender so early, I have 3 boys but don't mind what we have this time.

Ah you’re a super woman going for number 4 after suffering with HG! Those cyclizine tablets were everything to me in the first trimester haha!
And the sneak peak is really good isn’t it!♥️

Just because you said about someone saying somthing in the comments)
I am takinh 'Active Iron Pregnancy Plus' from Holland and Barrett. I definitely recommend because thes3 have the real form of folic acid in them. The ones you are taking have the synthetic version of folic acid and unfortunately a lot of people cant actually digest the synthetic version xxxx

I am curious about the gender and how it affects sickness. With my son, 0 morning sickness. With my daughter (stillborn) I was so sick with morning sickness, and with my now 18 month old daughter, I had RAGING morning sickness. She also had super long thick black hair at birth so the heartburn was insane.

I found pregnacare do a liquid form as well for those who can’t swallow tablets like me😂 I don’t suffer with sickness at the moment🤞🏻 but found as soon as i take my vitamins i feel really nauseous . I found i’m constantly hungry this time round, compared to my last pregnancy when being sick all the time!

With my pregnancy in 2021, for the first trimester I found cream crackers with butter really great to curb nausea. Second those Pregnacare tablets!

For some reason I was obsessed with little easy peelers all through my pregnancy, I would have about 5 a day 🤣 and milk! Glasses and glasses of the stuff! Xx
