I've had ice last for 5 days when pre-chilled INSIDE the house the night before I loaded it up before a road trip that included days at the beach. Pre-chilling a cooler outside or in a hot garage is worthless. Some of those serious offshore fishing guides prechill theirs in a deep freeze and then pack with dry ice in the bottom. I'm sure the Yeti's competitors make great coolers too. Matter fact I'm willing to bet they all come out of the same factories these days...
From what I read about coolers to optimize the coolness you ice it over night empty.. drain it then put your beverages in and ice it and should last a whole lot longer. What melts it is the wall temperature. Once you got the wall temperature cool you got a cooler that lasts days. Yeti is know for retaining the cold temperature longer then most.
Dude. I love real vids with real life. I fell out when the beer dropped! Yeah it helped me to decide to buy one of these cause you finally showed the capacity. Thanks for the Vid!
For one it's a darker colors cooler I have the reef blue 45 same cooler but light blue on the beach in southern texas a 24 pack caronas and filled to the top with ice it lasted almost 5 whole days before the beers got warm and that was restocking the beers everyday don't believe the yeti haters
Yeti recommends to pre chill, so yes that helps. You can even freeze some water bottles then put those in the cooler a few hours before then place those ice packs at the bottom, beer and fill that bad boy to the top.
FINALLY - a video where I can see how many beers will fit in this thing.
What would be Max capacity for talls

Lol - "that smells like f'in China!"
Dang I really wanted the 45 , but man I’ll just keep my igloo , lighter and same ice retention , thanks for the capacity size refererence too
dude great video, Thank You!
Smells like fn China 🤣
Smells like china 🇨🇳 but it was made in the Philippines 🇵🇭
No way I take mine filled with beer and ice and in the back of my truck it will last 5-6 days restocking it with beers as well in south texas heat
Which one is better? The 35 or 45 btw where did you get that ice maker?
35 is to small if you are going to make the investment go for a 45 or 65
I thought it was only my cooler that held ice for 3 days but on the 3rd day just straight cold water
If done right, you will have ice for 7 plus days.
Why are there thumbs down in those video. Good video man! It doesn't deserve thumbs down.
The guys that are die hard fan boys that feel guilty about spending too much lol
It can be better if you put it in ice one day before to make the interior of the cooler more cold, and put cold beer. Can you do that?

Try carrying a 105 loaded
Smells like china? Lol Philippians isn’t china 😂
