Great series on your autopilot! I’ve watched the company’s videos, but your testimonial has convinced me that this is my next addition to my airplane.

It has been an wonderful addition to my plane. I have only grown to love it more over time.

@4:22 Would that be the trailing edge?

Chris, I also have an RV-6A and am very interested in this option. Looking at wire routings and all seems fairly straight forward. However, I'm wondering how you made the transition from the aileron to the forward area of the flap. Specifically how you routed out of the aileron and around the aileron hinge/pushrod connection. And then into the flap. Love the videos. Chris M.

Glad you enjoyed the video. We drilled a small hole in the side of the aileron to run the wire into the front area of the flap. We used a grommet and some extra plastic wrap shielding to protect the wire from abrasion.

So you routed under the aileron hinge slight exposing the wiring to the airflow below the wing? Also, did the elevator and aileron require significant weight to balance? And thanks again for taking the time to produce the videos.@@SilvaAdventures
