First time run PI-PWn folder does not exist it will show error just ignore it

Using Raspberry pi zero 2 w with usb to ethernet port, 8/10 tries it goes to kernal panic and shuts down

Do we have to copy ppwn folder to the sd card ? Because when the codes are writing in putty it shows directory not found

Github says it rpi 4 and 5 can pass through the console usb port. Does that mean no need to plug the ethernet?
