At the age of cough,cough I was privileged to be part of an amateur group that did this number in a Live At her Majesty's show in the West end. The audience was 2,200. I was cough,cough years older than the next youngest in the cast. But Hey, you're only as old as you feel, and at the end of a 21 hour day (home to home) I still felt full of energy and joy.

I’m actually really excited to see Diane and joe dance this!! Joseph and his coat of many colours!!! It’s a little strange for a salsa but hearing this version now it could work and be so great with the right production! I can’t wait to see his dazzling coat of many colours! GO ON JOE!
I notice how the Canaan Days version in the megamix at 6:00 is the faster one that uses the earlier Stone the Crows melody in the full musical! Webber likes using themes over and over again throughout his musicals (Phantom, it seems, is based on 1-4 key riffs, and this show has the same feel). Also the last two minutes (7:55 to end) has the same vibe as "Superstar" (Murray Head), with the orchestration, cymbals, brass, and drums at the end!

I played Benjamin at age 12. Of all the shows I have been in this was the most fun. And I have been the Tin Man (Wizard of Oz), Fyedka (Fiddler), and all the bit parts in Les Miz.
