    To cater to the request of keen learners from all over the world, who are interested in learning the Melattur style Bharathanatyam , SDN humbly presents ‘Praarambham’. This is a set of tutorial videos to learn the basics of Melattur style online, which will be published on CZcams on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. The basic Adavus have been presented in three speeds starting from slow and moving on to fast tempo and receding back to the slow tempo, which will be useful for learners to improve stamina. Tips and suggestions to avoid mistakes in doing Adavus are presented in the videos.

    SDN is one of the most genuine CZcams channels. Always so efficient. I used to wonder why there are no more episodes and today this popped up. I am learning the Kalakshetra style but these videos are (along with Tapasya episodes) helping me a lot. Even my Guru praised me once because my posture and symmetry had improved a lot during quarantine! 😁😁😁😁 thank you SDN 🙏🙏🙏❤️

    so beautifully executed kanna.....a very tough set adavus indeed ....only dancers will know the pain...there were times my knees bleed cause of the mandi adavu ..but beautiful when done..a satisfaction and contentment

    Omg how much different are these adavus here.. Banis are unique to them is what we can emphasize here.. But a person learning Only by online seeing various teachers
    Should keep in mind this else they will end up in mixture of styles... Kudos to the team SDN

    The length of the saree hides the adavu. So the step in muzhumandi is not clearly visible. It's not about the uniform saree these girls wear but while teaching through this medium, that too the basics, make sure your teaching reaches people clearly.
