Following a Bat Through an Abandoned Mine

- There's always something interesting about an abandoned mine, even if it is almost entirely featureless. While this one was not loaded with old artifacts or equipment, I instead found a winged inhabitant who led me through the entire mine.
I wasn't expecting this mine to be extensive at all. The waste dump appeared to indicate about 1,000 ft. of workings, but the mine was much longer. Recent evidence of drilling activity was noticeable throughout the mine. I believe this one was driven originally in the late 1800's, but had obviously been rehabilitated more recently. Silver was the likely commodity sought after. Based on the lack of stoping, I doubt they produced much of anything.
