I had the pleasure of meeting him as a teen. He was extremely nice and polite and soft spoken. He even sang me a verse of “Tiptoe Through The Tulips”. My friends had no idea who he was, but I was thrilled
lie
@@hoss-lk4bg Who is lying about what?
@@ERINYES10 I believe you. He was always great to his fans.
@@hoss-lk4bg you can’t even type out a complete sentence, why should I believe you? Maybe you are the liar! 🤥
I believe it. Dude played small gigs and would talk to anyone
TINY TIME WAS AN ORIGINAL. HE WAS ALSO A HIGHLY INTELLIGENT GENTLEMAN WITH HUMILITY. I WOULD HAVE BEEN HONORED TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHAKE HIS HAND & TELL HIM HOW GREAT HE WAS.
I DID AND I WISH U COULD HAVE VERY NICE MAN.
Same here dude.. He was an amazing man. The highest respect for every living thing. Something desperately missing in this day and age right now
He should be a role model for generations to come.
Me too...would love to have spent a afternoon telling him how he meant everything to this world and was ahead of his time....
WHY ARE WE YELLING!!?
A wonderful gentleman and super musical brain. Personal friend for over 40 years.
Tell something about him!
cooool tell us about him
notsokewl If he was going to lie about being friends with someone, I’m sure he’d pick someone a little more notable than Tiny Tim
Lillymay Parker cry me a river dick face
@Lillymay Parker Chill tf out, oh my God
Mr. Khaury was an American national treasure. For all of his apparent social ineptness, his vast historical archives of recorded and written music, and his encyclopaedic knowledge and articles on the subject of American popular music were an astounding resource.
God bless you, Tiny Tim. There'll never be another one like you.
Very articulate and talented and seems like a decent guy.
i watched him as a kid when he did his Carson appearance and my parents like most adults of thate era were probably confounded by his act as theyd never seen someone so unusual in dress and vocal style etc...truly a unique act in the late 60s and im learning he was quite gifted. Id say way ahead of his time.
How was miss vicki when he married her?
What a memory he had
He always remembers and recites dates. No doubt he was somewhere on the spectrum. He was an amazing person. I’m glad he was a thing.
Actually yeah? Maybe…
I was thinking the same thing. Asperger’s wasn’t diagnosed until the late 80s so it’s quite possible.
@@boxburyMy daughter has autism.. my brother is aspergers, I'd say 2 of 3 of my brothers, but only one has the diagnosis. But I can spot it when I see it after working with MANY on the spectrum... I'm confident that he was on the spectrum-very high up, but many things allude to it. I always thought he was innocent for his age and unfortunately many took advantage of him in the business. L.I.P TT ❤
Can anyone know they’re on the spectrum? I’m very curious!!!
@@ThatTaRaGiRLI’ve had just one person say I may be on the spectrum. But in my late 40’s I trust I had many opportunities over the years for others to notice. Not 1 has said anything except my sister. Thoughts?
tiny was my great uncle :) i miss him! i love you uncle tiny... forever and ever
What 0: wow! You come from a talent family then ❤
Rich boy
Is he really cool and weird in real life?
@@brazycoldYT tiny didn't have alot of money. He did in the 60s but he got taken advantage of.
Did you ever meet him
He was such a lovable guy! I think highly of him for testifying his faith to Jesus Christ!
Wow. I'll never forget meeting Herbert way back in the late '70s. An amazing person.
Did he have a teen age girlfriend?
me too 1978
a soft spoken gentleman and and will never see the like again ...
I REALLY MISS TINY TIM. I WISH I COULD HAVE KNOWN HIM PERSONALLY. HE WAS THE GENUINE ARTICLE.
She’s so rude to him. He was a gentle and well spoken guy.
shut up

Right out of the gate let’s talk about you ex!
Have you not noticed that interviewers are always rude to their people that they're interviewing especially when it comes to celebrities interviewing other celebrities people are rude in that community in general not everybody but most of them
IF more of us were like Tiny Tim the world would be a better place. Kind, respectful and generous. Today, I will honor Tiny Time by asking myself often...what would Tiny Tom Do? That would make a cool bumper sticker.
Tim
Tiny Tim what a personality, you da best Man, God Bless you wherever you are, Sir.
Watching this on acid have no idea what's going on
Probably still don't when you're not on acid
@@theblakex Why you hatin on dude for taking acid? You obviously never have or you wouldn't be such a turdnugget.

@@StephenWitharose You're an odd little thing.
Met him in 1996. He knew everything about music and films.
You're so lucky.. You caught a meeting with him just before he died, and it's really not often you hear about Tiny talking about films! I'd love to know all of the films he was into.
lie
Tiny Tim was biggest early in my life but seeing him on t.v. was like finding a genuine genius in high school or out at the thrift stores and you start watching their habits gleefully and excitedly from afar, every time you accidentally see them then the day comes that you see them out at a show and you realize they always knew you wanted to know everything about them and they're so relieved to learn how excessively cooool you turned out to be and you exchange phone numbers but you're aware of the sacred gift that they were the friend you needed most from the start.and you become better because.
He is a good talker :) He is someone I would love to have a conversation with :)
It was the first time I ever heard him talk in his "normal" voice.
I met Tiny Tim wants after a show... he was indeed very very kind
So well spoken...he seemed like such a kind man as well. It's sad ppl just focus on appearances, and not the things that matter.
(Still one of the best male falsettos ever)
Tim was a very capable performer and an encyclopedia of old time music. He was performing with The Great American Circus. I wanted to go see him but no one wanted to go with me. I have since spoken with people that saw him and they were very impressed with his performance.
Me encanta la manera que se expresaba tanto hablando como cantando ❤
At least the man had a sense of humor about himself. Deep down the man seemed to be a decent man.
How’s the last 7 years gone for you?
Thanks Jesus Christ. What a spiritual person.
Yes, imperfect, as we all are, but very spiritual.
So sweet the way he blows kisses to the audience.
That was a brilliant man, you could tell the people around him were slightly intimidated by his intelligence.
99% of people are retarded 🤷♂️💞
*Tiny Tim was too good to be on that show!!*
You are correct, this whole interview she was dissing him in such a micro aggressive way that I’m sure Tiny picked up on it. Vicki is really laughing at Tiny and making fun of him. She thought she was fooling him but he read her like a book.
@@rapman5363
She had a top 10 song.
Tiny was the first to ever marry on T.V. and it was also seen by 40 million people and was the highest ratings for the Johnny Carson show up til that is when Johnny had his grand FINALLY his last show ! Tiny died on stage when he collapsed after singing his one hit Tip Toe thru the tulips hit his head and his wife was by his side so sad - being she had told the world that night he was sick and didn't want to disappoint his fans so he went instead of going to hospital also she said that night the band playing before him treated him ecstreemly awful and not only did they say they didn't know his song so they didn't have to play it they also walked off the stage without introducing him so disrespectful this lead to people leaving and Tiny had a tiny audience no pun intended he left his second wife along with a beautiful daughter named Tulip that he had with his first wife !! 1996 I believe he had been in his late 60's upon his passing of heart failure may he rest in peace ...Amen ❤
Have anyone noticed how Tiny could recall dates and schedules. He seemed very good with numbers. He also had a very beautiful wife, very good for him. RIP Tiny Tim. Vicki that was rude to just cut Tiny off in the middle of a conversation. Smh
@ Hazel Eyes - You don't seem to realize how t.v. works. If she had to cut it short, that's what she had to do. You know for certain Vicki Lawrence would never be rude to anyone on purpose! Why even mention it??
That's was fycked up of her i did not like that either
He had a phenomenal memory, just amazing. Could have done without Ray J. Johnson, Jr. butting in.
That was bad directing and rude to Tiny Tim. Wtf
My right ear is LOVING this
Saw him in person in September 1991. Great show...
Love the Tiny Tim interview. The jokes that Bill Saluga is telling were probably old in the 1930's, I'm shocked to see something that corny on a talk show in the '90's. Tiny is always a joy to listen to though, no false pretences with him. He was a fascinating character, always sincere, and with a great love for musical history. It seems that Miss Jan always followed him around just to appear in the media. I'm guessing she was hoping someone would discover her and make her famous.
Sería lindo que los fans que no hablamos inglés podamos disfrutar de sus últimas entrevistas
A guy that had his head in the 30s, 40’s, but managed to stay relevant
When?
At 5:00 he said he was not famous but will always be famous
He reminded me of the penguin here.
What a unique individual. I was born in '63 I got to watch his career play out. God bless him
Very smart man.
Tiny Tim is still going strong 💪 in 2022..... would love to see him perform TIPTOE Through the Tulips 🌷 live! My heart hearts.
Is it just me or is this lady so rude only wanting to hear bad things about tiny and treating him like she’s superior 😡😡😭
@ Will Russell - It's just you. Tiny Tim put himself "out there" for just this type of response - EVERYONE responded to him oddly, not really knowing HOW to treat him. Have you ever seen Johnny Carson's responses to him??? Tiny Tim wanted to be famous and he found a way to do it.
@@haveagreatday2823 I disagree no way to treat a person
Yep! She’s wanting to talk about his first wife and he’s like “Umm I have a new wife.”
This show aired on Wednesday October 28th 1992 the exact day I was born!
It makes me so happy that he thanks Jesus for helping him get to where he was 🥺❤️
Beautiful man.
Really love this guy
This man was with no doubt intelligent he had an incredible memory and self taught himself to play instruments and crafted a new way to perform ! People who don’t understand see him as strange or think he might’ve had a disability but I don’t believe that was the case!
That's Patty Hearst sitting next to him. She's always a great sport. Miss Jan was Tiny's second wife, His third and final was Miss Sue, I wonder what ever happened to Tulip Victoria, his daughter with Miss Vicky?
Miss Jan only used him for his fame. Miss Sue truly loved him!
What a "rude show"to their guests....
How ridiculous!!
I absolutely agree.
Tiny had the gift of savior by our king. I cant wait to meet him one day. After all this nonsense. I'm shure he has a soul burning brighter than it did on earth here. God bless you tiny. You gave so many real people real inspiration and hope. And a guideline on how to live a life. With sincerity , humility, humbleness, integrity and honesty. You are missed. ❤❤
He is such a unique soul❤
Seems like a nice guy, i wouldn't mind hearing his story from him directly ❤❤!
I myself am a date man. I'm able to recall certain dates when certain things happened in my life. Tiny Tim was also able to recall dates. I miss him. David L. Saelens (drummer, Rock Island, IL.) Posted 11 July 2019.
What a great memory. Was miss Lawrence trying to be funny? She just came off as rude. Such a shame he was quite interesting.
''they all kept away from me'' so sad. What a lovely man.R.I.P.
He was so tall yet gentle and soft spoken.
grande tiny tim q.e.d.p.forever
I think it was inconsiderate of Vicki Lawrence to insist that he call her Miss Vicki. It was no doubt a touchy name to say for him. It probably brought back hurt feelings to remember his 1st wife's name.

A sweetheart of a guy.
I can only hope I will get to meet him up there. I’d love to sit on a bench and just listen to him.
Well, Tim had the pick of (3) hot, young wives - That's more than most of us guys get !!!
Only 2 hot and the first was not.
@@michaelleeannspringer3247 Uh.. How on Earth was young Miss Vicki not hot?..
My Mom used to tell me about Tiny Tim. I grew up in the 70s and am too young to really remember him(I'm 58),but I can tell how far ahead of his time he was. He was way too smart for this crappy show.
god lord you're a puppy son
@@hoss-lk4bg Yes I am. lol. A 59 year old puppy. A friend of mine will sometimes remember something from a long time ago and say he was ''your age.'' Cracks me up: my friend turned 57 last month. He's a year older than my youngest brother and sister.
He is awesome:)
Yo no sabía de la existencia de este artista, aunque ya falleció, me ha fascinado!
lo vi cantando en los anos 60's cuando yo tenia 17 anos, y el no era conocido, me impacto, a los meses de eso salio su cancion en la radio.
Wtf was wrong with Vicki! It's no wonder her show ended. How rude she was to Tiny Tim.... And that guy walking on during Tinys interview.... Terrible interviewer Vicki was!
Vicki was rude to Tiny.
Never forget seeing him walk down a street in downtown Des Moines Iowa not knowing it was actually him and saying that looks like Tiny Tim??’s It was actually him and I saw him about 1993 or 94. He lived in the Hotel Fort Des Moines prior to him moving to Minneapolis. He also did a short lived local talk show on Sunday nights on WHO radio until he moved to Minnesota.
It was very strange in that of all the places he could’ve lived that he chose Des Moines Iowa for a time.
No entiendo nada de lo que dice por que no se español pero se ve que fué una buena persona de gran corazón
Grande artista
He was a great human being
He was such a nice guy and very talented. Im not a fan of current biopics but I think Tiny Tim deserves one of his own
Mrs. Jen is gorgeous! Tim really had it going
Wow how beautiful was miss Jan...
What a man
If you haven't watched Tiny Tim's first Carson appearance, do yourself a favor and check it out.
Yay,Tiny Tim!
To me, the name Tiny Tim is synonymous with the word icon. Yes, one could call him eccentric, but that was something that made him uniquely talented. Tiny taught himself to play several musical instruments--the ukulele, the violin, the guitar, and the mandolin--and sing. Though I wasn't around when he was in his prime, from what people told me and watching his videos, somehow I think Tiny was dismissed as a novelty act when he deserved more credit. God bless Tiny Tim!
According to the program information on IMDB, it is!
I'll bet he had Asperger's.
Finally someone else has said this! I've read tons of comments on Tiny Tim's videos and only recently found one who thought like me. I know he's OCD but I think he's Asperger's too. The way he tells the story is so detailed and he can memorize many dates. Just like the guy with Asperger's I know!
Definitely
Happy 2023 year for harmony.
Love seeing Tiny Tim,
however the audio on this video was atrocious, 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠.
Lol they really set this up to have him interpreted
Tiny Tim was so ahead of his time
Is not she the same Butch Hartman's Vicky??
Such a loveable guy! 😍
Mr. Johnson ruined the show. This was Tiny Tim's time.
Is that Patty Hearst next to him? Xo
Tiny Tim is smarter than everyone
Is Vicki. ..mama from mama's family?
Yes
Why does this man interrupt the show at 7:40 ?
He was one of the guests - he had gotten famous doing that shtick
Is the guest on the left Patty Hearst?
Tiny Tim said it all when he said that couples who gets married sometimes gets tired of each other and funny that...I got married in 1985 to my first wife and within TWO years we had 2 baby girls one being mine and we decided it wasn't gonna work but like she said back then thru no fault of hers she just got tired of me... while those feelings was not mutual I granted her a divorce just to find out she had been sleeping with another married man which his wife divorced him and it was a mess... high wouldn't think under 2 years good get tired of each other...
He's so beautiful 😍 tiny tim is so calm
Why does ray j Johnson show up in every video I watch
Wonder if my parents watched his wedding. My bday was the next day
Wow, epic......
i like him he is a character
This Ray johnson interrupted Tiny Tim's time with Vicki and ruined the segment.
No sound on this
Poor man. Such horrible OCD. Terrible case. And his wacky religious beliefs stopped him from getting help. The man could have easily gotten heart surgery to save his life and didn't cause he felt it would make him feel dirty. I think he was secretly suicidal and couldn't do it himself.
😐
He was so cute. 💕💜💕
