    Thanks for this bro. I ordered the rough country steering stabilizer a couple days ago and I feel it necessary to order this as soon as Im dont typing. My 2007 dodge ram 3500 on 37" has so much play that I feel like I will get pulled over for a DUI every time I hit the highway. Great install. I will refer back to this vid when I get ,mine in the main. Respect.

    I have just ordered this brace for my '12 2500. I live in Nebraska where they use tons of salt on the roads each year. I plan to orient the grease fitting to the rear and install a rubber cap on it to attempt to minimize the possibility of water intrusion into the bearing grease zerk.

    I bought this two weeks ago ..installed it last weekend...I am not a mechanic.I barely know the difference between crescent wrench and a monkey wrench...I was done in a hour and half...it took me a half hour to get a block to hold the sway bar up...I had steering wheel play 11 to 1, maybe a little more...it is gone ...my 06 dodge diesel with 249 thousand miles drives like a new truck...very happy. Also I ordered it direct from the company...had notification it shipped that afternoon. Had it in 4 days...cost $130.00....again very happy.....

    I installed one of these on my 2001 Ram 1500 club cab and it solve all of my wandering issues.
    I just purchased a new RAM Tradesman 2500 crew cab 4x2 Cummins and currently don’t have any issues with the steering and don’t want any.
    Ive contacted Don about a kit for this truck and to ask if it would void the factory 5year 60,000 mile warranty. I will definitely install one if he makes one for this truck and there is no warranty issue.

    Thanks for the great install video I just ordered the same stabilizer for my 2010 ram 2500. My steering has always been loose with drifting left to right at all speeds. After adding a leveling kit with 35” tires it got much worse. I did replace the steering gear box which helped remove about an inch of play in the steering wheel but the drifting still occurs. I’m also having some bouncing issues from 35mph and up and I can’t figure out what’s causing that? The track bar bushings are in good shape and it’s tight. Any suggestions?

    Hey.. curious... Are there any thoughts about front end alignments prior to this install? I bought a '15 tradesman from a friend, very low miles, but I can tell there is a bit of play in the steering wheel. However at some point I assume he had an alignment, and the steering wheel is not in line, its turned to the right about 15 degrees. It will be due an oil change in the coming months, so I was planning on taking in for the oil change and have the steering wheel angel adjusted back to center. I hope. Would you do this prior to installing this bracket?

    • @MotorHead18
      @MotorHead18 Před 5 lety

      These trucks are famous for wandering around the road while driving. It wasn’t until I installed this stabilizer that it stiffened up. Much less play in steering. If I were you I would request the total toe to be 0.00-0.05 for the alignment. This will increase the life of your tires.

    I have this brace on my '14 2500. It's been on there for almost 70k miles and it has developed cracks and flexes considerably. I'm currently waiting for Synergy to make more of their braces as I believe their design is far superior. It's a decent brace that will improve steering feel, just don't expect it to last.
