Pile 3 - “I’m not even asking questions because I’m focusing on how I don’t know you, but asking questions would just solve it” yep. Yep. Yep.
Pile 2 resonated perfectly- I did give up on them 5 years ago though sometimes I do feel a pull.
Then I get very angry at myself for giving them any mental energy at all, but it helps me remember what that connection taught me so I keep moving forward. They’re (or they were) just not capable of reciprocating an authentic, genuine love and so - just as you said - I never let them know all of me. I comforted and consoled them through every imaginable perceived slight no matter how trivial, yet they supremely let me down in my most desperate hour of need (which was for just a little of their kindness and compassion).
Even at my lowest, I knew they hadn’t earned the right to know me and so I kept guard around my heart. But, I couldn’t admit to myself that this person I loved unconditionally was just so obviously shallow and narcissistic, even when anyone around me who I mentioned them to saw right off the bat. And, the person spent their life chasing the exact kind of people you described like tissues to use up and discard… which was so shortsighted and frankly stupid given they were looking to fill a void.
I am sapiosexual and their juvenile approach toward dating was like an emotionally stunted adolescent trying to prove their masculinity to get back at all the people in their youth who rejected them when they were young … and my disgust over how pathetic and transparent their actions were, and how little they cared that it was so hurtful (if they knew enough or cared enough that they were so hurtful) and oblivious to it despite beating otherwise so intelligent, prevented me from seeing them as a serious potential partner.
But I still held on way too long because of the wounded child I saw in them - hoping I could love them enough to heal them, but instead I just got burned.
I am truly happy to hear that someone finally helped them to learn what a real partner in life is, and while I don’t feel a need to test your accuracy by ever reaching out to them again (I’m just due too many apologies from them that they are/were to ignorant to even understand they owe me)… one part of me will never forgive their cold cruelty towards me, and the other part will never forgive myself for letting them treat me that way. So, a tarot reading is as close as I will ever get to connecting with them in this life, despite never having closure. They didn’t just burn the bridge, they salted the soil and scorched the earth.
That said, from an intellectual/spiritual perspective, I will always be grateful for the lessons I was able to learn about myself through that experience (better self-respect and boundaries, not over giving to narcissists/users, etc), and even more grateful they weren’t smart/manipulative enough to keep me trapped in that one-sided heartbreakingly toxic connection before finding someone who offers me the relationship I deserve.
I now have the self-esteem to accept love from people who are solid, successful, attractive, intelligent, and caring.
And to learn that anyone who makes you hate yourself should never be in your life.
We do accept the love we think we deserve, and that person helped me - through my tolerating unacceptable disrespect- to learn that I didn’t think I deserved love at all.
I’m so glad to have learned otherwise.

4. didn't make sense at first, but then I realized the universe reflects back who I am. It ended in disaster for a reason. There are many things within me I have to sort out. My energy was so strong that even the hurt within me projected out into the world. Boy was she a powerful mirror and threw it back in my face. Not easy carrying the pain she caused me, but I'll transmute it like no ones business and reach greatness.

3: I saw this person every couple of months when I traveled to his state on business. He’s very passive and judgmental. We had a passionate FWB. He put little energy into the relationship. It really sounds like him. After 8 months of no contact because I cut it off because he put so little into it, although i enjoyed his company, he reached out and asked for help. His mother died, he got depressed and lost his job. Im going to visit him as a support. I’m concerned about getting too involved and exhausting myself as I did before. I’m glad he’s learned.

1: predatory boss who looked at me like the golden child because I’m talented/intelligent and was going to make me they’re pet but I put in heavy boundaries and they’re def choosing not to see the error of their ways. This job is a revolving door of new hires because of high turnaround and low employee retention. Common denominator is her. She is a predatory boss !

Pile 1, your so accurate. She was always pushing my boundries wit her mental health but at first i didnt mind, i wanted to help her as much as i could. Slowly i had to stop bc i had my own problems and she wasnt there for me the same.
Our friendship ended because during her mental break down she yelled at me to leave her alone in public, left me in a different city in the middle of the night with no money or car. I also took her friends home because they lived farther than me, i came home at 6 at the morning.
Now she tells people its my fault and her friends are yes men who back her up no matter what
Was there twice to help on their downfalls and when their ego fooled them into false success they kicked me out and never acknowledged how I was there with them.
