It's amazing how they think that bringing the rock back would just sweep this under the rug. Vince allegedly SH!T on someone. Literally SH!T on someone. You don't just walk away from that.
I watched WWF in the late 90s and thought the whole family had the asshole act as an act. He played it so well, and it turns out he wasn't a great actor, eh? He really was an asshole.
Sometimes the greatest gimmicks are the real person turned up to 12....
The only people that have defened Vince has been fans. None of his family have defended him. That says a lot !!!!😮
Vince, Laurinaitis and Brock Lesnar is just the tip of the iceberg, more names are expected to be revealed soon enough
Shawn Michaels is definitely on that list, especially because of the silly antics he displayed when he was in his prime, Shawn was Vince McMahon's boy toy
Does the name Gonzelcalves Who's Grant fiance rings a bell? Vince saved the best for the last
Vince has pissed off too many people in the business, he's about to face a tidal wave for his years of screwing people. Remember Vince let a PPV continue after one of his talent plummeted to his death..
He put all the territories out of business, karma is a bitch Vince
It’s funny that Vince said in an interview his character was “the kind of guy he would hate” - but the real McMahon is so much worse.
Justice for Ashley Massaro!
Seems her name is getting dropped a lot lately without much in the way of details of what she’s being referred to for.
@@mr.green2341Ashley massaro put in a severe SA (rape) assault claim during 2016's WWE tribute to the troops. It is alleged that Vince McMahon knew about this assault, and used his authority in the company to keep Ashley massaro quiet. Ashley massaro left the WWE in 2018, and committed suicide in 2019 claiming the SA (rape) assault as the major reason for leaving and for her suicide.
He deserves it for what he did to his family. He sold the family business to be spiteful rather than stepping back and allowing Steph and Shane to assume control of the company.
He did well to get this far without any serious repercussions for his actions. He’s managed to buy his way out of trouble up until now.
We officially know there is no difference between Vince and Mr McMahon
The Rock won't come out of this looking good either. His Dad was fired from wwe over a few incidents. He was charged with rape of a 19 year old woman. According to other wrestlers he avoided prosecution by intimidating the victim. He brought a 12 year old to a strip poker game with fellow wrestlers and had her sit in his lap naked. After he was fired, he had different jobs. One of which was at a community center gym. He was fired for groping women and for inappropriate behavior around children.
Yeah. I knew only the “good dad” side would be portrayed on Young Rock but all of these nasty things Johnson did was still in the back of my mind.
@@PhillyBagel Dwayne too. According to Rocky's mistress, a teenaged Dwayne threatened to kill her and he went after women his Dad was cheating on his Mom with. Dwayne has sort of touched on this but he spins it so it doesn't look as bad. I mean this is all the past but it still demonstrates how the WWE swept all this sort of behaviour under the rug for so long.
Vince has always gotten off on humiliating others. The “kiss my ass club”, making Trish bark like a dog, making Dusty Rhodes wear polka dots, etc.
I was just gonna say....you must have listened to the drive thru clip😅
How is that any different than anything else on TV like survivor and fear factor and then there is Howard stern who wad the king of humiliation now he is a woke crusader !
All the signs were there. He played the douchebag boss so well, because it was playing himself!
@@antonycuff4512 Name a single thing from the shows you just mentioned that was as humiliating as ANYTHING Vince Mcmahon made his talent do. I don't ever recall those programs forcing women to strip on TV.
I hate to think about who else could be involved in this scandal.
But, one has to ask a lot of questions towards former employees of WWE. Especially those who sat in creative or on the board.
People like Jim Cornette, Jim Ross, Sgt. Slaughter, Jerry Lawler, Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo, Johnathan Coachman, Gerald Brisco, Pat Paterson, Linda McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Paul Leveque (Triple H).
Former top stars like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Jesse Ventura, Kevin Nash, Bill Goldberg, Stone Cold Steve Austin, RVD, The Dudley Boys, Edge, Christian, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Big Show, Ryback, Trish Stratus, Lita, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, Molly Holly, Gregory Helms (The Hurricane), Rikishi, The Godfather, Diamond Dallas Page, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Goldust, Booker T, Mick Foley and Jake "Snake" Roberts.
I would name others, but they aren't alive in many cases. Though there are a ton of others who used to work for the WWE.
We know Brock Lesnar is involved in the investigation.
Every current WWE star should be questioned, The Rock, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio and everyone else.
Even Tony Khan needs to answer questions. What did they see? Did they know about it? Were they involved? Did part of the reason they left have to do with Vince's behavior? Everyone needs to go on record.
Even if they had nothing to do with what happened in Stamford, we need to know who is innocent, who saw stuff that they worried about or even were either forced to take part or were willing participants.
No stone should remain unturned.
I hope there is no settlement. There needs to be a trial.
You sound like you’re just trying to name everyone you can remember lol. I don’t think that many people will be first-hand accomplices of this or it would have come out sooner how bad it was. A few knew a lot. A lot knew a little. Everyone heard things.
The rats are jumping ship and turning on each other. You know the family and higher ups at WWE knew what was going on for decades. And nobody lifted a finger to stop him. That makes them as guilty as Vince in my opinion. Shame on all of them.
Their eyes were wide shut and they were only thinking about not losing their job...
Whether or not Vince went through the legal department for the NDAs, those things should not ever cover criminal behavior. Thought I heard recently that a law just made it so they don’t, but they never should have been able to before either! Protecting business-related company secrets is one thing, covering the criminal behavior of scumbags like Vince and Laurinaitis is something else altogether and shouldn’t be worth the weight of the paper they’re printed on.
My bet is this ends up in a long list that ruins a lot of childhoods forever.
Lol @ this ruining someone's childhood. Tell that to victims of SA when they were kids, or ones that were beat mercilessly. Grow up.

As a kid I saw Vince with the durag and knew he was a sicko
I knew he was a sicko when he had Owen Hart’s corpse rolled out of the ring and demanded the show go on!
I thought Jack Tunny owned the WWF until I was 16
This is great to see you guys talk about it like this. Unlike most of the feckless wrestling media that want to root for WWE and pretend the problem only lay with Vince and not the rest of the stupid company.
My theory is that the plan for WM40 is still going to be Roman Vs. Cody, but the company "changed" it to Rock Vs. Roman to throw the attention away from Vince. TKO knows VInce has a massive trail of victims who are about to come out against him and the WWE, and they're scared shitless of what's about to come. It's unavoidable, and they're just delaying the inevitable.
A lot of people working in the WWE are definitely going to file for unemployment
One thing that I have noticed in the recent past about this subject; is how many people knew some crap was going on, yet said nothing or did nothing, but now on social media chirping away on the subject making themselves look like idiots.
I never liked Vince. I just never had a good vibe from him, right from the 90's.
I stopped watching when he became a main character. Something about him always rubbed me the wrong way. He was like a real life Mr. Burns.
@@heartbreak25 Yes, that, and also, the way WWE treated WCW wrestlers after the merger in 2001. To me, it was an "ego" thing from Vince and WWE - they bought WCW to get them out of the way. It's unforgettable to this day.
You have the right to tell your employer NO when they're suggesting something illegal, or against your morals.
i think the guy in black sweater needs to choose his words better, it's not uncancelable, you don't cancel a billionaire, it's simply that mcmahon didn't think there would be CONSEQUENCES to his actions. that's what the big to do is about "cancel culture" that there are CONSEQUENCES to the behaviors of people, typically the rich and powerful, that there wasn't before.
The guy with the black sweater cried a couple of days back because of the words another man said that’s about all you need to know about the man in the black sweater😂😂
This whole thing is incredible. The fact the network has almost everything ever on the network readily available to see, means the allegations he hid in plain sight and wrote some of this in the story lines in attitude era and diva era is astounding to his brazenness, allegedly. I’m waiting to see who is brought into this, people we grew up idolising are going to become people we are devastated by. The victimisation of anyone female or male by people in power here is unconscionable. There will be other charges and more who hopefully have evidence of their involvement under pressure from above. Innocent people do not offload their shares, that’s their legacy, their power, financially. I’ve watched so much over the years that shocked me but this is so much to hear. The biggest shock is not one person is defending him.
Nothing changes for WWE. Vince was never presented as a good guy..
i hope justice is served. Because if he gets off, everyone will spin it into just another Johnny Depp case, then it will hurt future victims in every industry from being able to speak up.
Wait until normies find out that Vince covered up murders or the ring boy scandal
If the Johnny Depp trial was big what would this be?
If it all goes to court…..
Just imagine if it was televised!!!
We grew up on TBS and USA
Will Mike let Dan speak! Wtf!
Vince lost his majority share when he sold to TKO. He no longer has controlling power.
Thankfully. Imagine if all this news broke a year ago when he was still the controlling stockholder and was trying to sell the company.
Some of us remember watching wrestling with our father and/or grandfather. Vince took that away for a much creepier, over the top, product. Good wrestling and storylines got replaced by shock value and plastic divas that can't wrestle and can't act.
The saddest reality about Vince isn't that he's disgustingly immoral, it's that he thinks everyone else is too.
The amazing thing is the only reason we know about any of this is because he signed a $3 million NDA with the woman but stopped paying after the first million. Considering how much the guy is worth, to see his entire legacy fall apart over $2 million is crazy
I was thinking this today...if he would have just kept up his end of the agreement, would any of this ever have seen the light of day.
This is typical Vince. During the national expansion of the wwf. Vince was buying out territories. For example he will agree to pay a promoter $250k for his promotion. Vince will pay $100k. Then when the promoter asks for the rest. He will tell him to F off. Knowing full well the promoter doesn’t have the means or funds to fight for the rest of the money.
@@Dancingchefusa It doesn't matter ! the woman was talking anonymously anyway in 2022 to the wsj that's why he lost his job the first time and she doesn't get to decide that the nda is no longer in effect , she needs to go before a judge to strike down the nda !
It’s surprising how cheap he is. Not paying his wrestlers well, paying premium for blowjobs/sex and than short changing them. 🤡
@antonycuff4512 actually, if Vince decides to stop paying, he is essentially voiding the NdA, no? Also, if he's making NDA with himself personally, with a WWE employee, I'm not sure that the NDA would even be valid. Anyways, I didn't make a comment about the situation, I was laughing at the person who regurgitated, verbatim, what Brian Last said on the Drive Thru episode. So in the ceremonious words of Mr. Cornette, Thank you, fuck you and bye bye!....I'm just playing, it's funny to say🙂 Have a good one
On arrival to TKO they seemed to have frantic SEC violations. If criminal things caused that frenzied scurrying, you feel little bad for Endeavor, because hyperbole aside it's circus cult.
Vince screwed Vince. Thats for Bret Hart!
Back in the seventies he Was just a presenter til his dad sold him the company in eighty-two.
He was quite mild mannered on camera back then, the growliness only started when Hulk became champ.
I believe that two of the women with NDAs are Christy Hemme and Ashley Massaro, but I have no doubt that several of Vince's top guys were also involved.
I never liked the guy. Always thought he was a creep. I hope he is found guilty and gets serious jail time,
At the money in the bank match this year. They're going to have an NDA in there instead of a contract for a Title match.😂😊
The accusations are horrible, but can we take a min to think about how we got here: Grant was able to file her lawsuit bc Vince paid $1M of the NDA agreement and stopped paying. So *if it’s all true* he did horrible things, got the woman to agree to not talk, only had to pay $3M (I think the number was) , which is like 0.000000000000001% of his fortune… and then just decided he didn’t want to pay? To lose EVERYTHING bc he decided he didn’t want to pay the couch coins he agreed to pay to be able to get away with it.
AEW, better product ad owner is actually a good human being, the literal opposite of Vince McMahon.
And by reading a lot of comments from WWE fans, they also have to change the culture they display to the audience, because a lot of the male fan base thinks this is a joke and something to laugh about. They need to stop showing female wrestlers as objects to be used, and more like just more talent.
I’m also shocked by the lack of outward speaking by former WWE talent, who seem to be shying away from this subject. It’s like when we say a, “good cop” isn’t a good cop if they didn’t tell anyone about their peers dirty behaviors. Therefore they’re part of the problem. Same thing here.
HHH knew.. steph knew.. bruce pritchard knew they all must go.. TONY KHAN may end up owning wwe if tko decides to dump it.
Tony Khan is another NDA clown hiding things so they'll be looking at him and Jericho real soon...
And crazy to think this is the beginning. Its gonna get worse
0:55 I don't know what matches you got on Saturday morning but I expect in terms of ring action they were vastly better than the WWF was,
In this respect would be interesting to know which wrestling territory you actually watched.
Bet you triple h is on this one js
Yep and now that the Rock is on the board and Brian Gewirtz is back on the creative writing team...Gewirtz could be moved to head of creative if Triple H goes down.
A very sorry act by the man seeing the company was doing fine financially. It just makes no sense. The man spent his life building a successful business. Which no one can take away from him. He knew what he was doing and was very good at it. What he wasn't good at was recognizing it was time for him to allow his kids to assume leadership of the business. Just a very very sad way for the McMahon era to end. Was no need except he was being spitefully. Now another company will enjoy the fruits of his labor forever.
Vince's defense will be, it was a future story line.
1 vince and any decision he has made for wwe should be overturned and forgotten
2 anyone who was implicated should be fired from the company wwe

Unfortunately, the wrestling business is done, at least in mainstream media. it has been for a while, but at this point, I don't see it recovering to what it was. We will not have it be as big as it was in the 1990s. Whoever is scrubbing it clean is probably going to make it so G-rated TV-wise that people are just going to tune out. I briefly got reinterested in it with the Wyatt family, but after they screwed that up, I turned it off again.
Why would tko make it g rated they have been running the UFC and they removed the pc culture from there and they are moving to Netflix which is the new mainstream where there is no censorship and no need to cater to sponsors !
It will be like when Turner bought WCW. TKO will become so terrified of having "wrestling people" around they'll put people in who have no clue how to run a wrestling company. When they discover it's not the same as UFC, that'll be it.
That is exactly how he started in the early 70’s. Commentating, interviewing and promoting his own part of the territory in Maine. He bought it years later in the early 80’s.
Vince did this to himself.
Idk why everyone is so shocked about these allegations. Vince has always been a weird guy known to bully and harass his employees. If anything, I'm surprised it took this long for him to finally be cancelled.

"Dan being a 37 year old man bought it"😂😂
Was born in 1953 and I am 31 years old now, been watching WWE since the black and white times, and after seeing this happening, WWE needs to change its name and reband it to move away from the name of WWE, WWE has so much bad secrets from the death of Owen hart, to the drug policy, to the Chris Benoit tragedy, to the cover up of jimmy sunka case murder, from WWE contracts calling wrestler independent contractors, to the Ashley case, to this now. TKO needs to change WWE name and move away from the bad WWE trademark name that has a bad nasty name on it now. If I was in charge of TKO that will be my first step and rename it to something new.
If you’re a WWE FAN this is not schocking. Vince will be punished and the company will be fine.
Oh how the mighty have fallen

Scott Steiner: You know they say that all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Samoa Joe and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another wrestler, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat me. Then you add Kurt Angle to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way at Sacrifice, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Kurt Angle KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try!
So Samoa Joe, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice. See Joe, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Sacrifice.
WWE is gonna be fine
He actually did start off sideline and continued after owning the company because the owner had no place on tv at the time.
