Great helpful video! I have been to SK last 2016 but that time iba pa kasi nga requirements and back then they honor pa yung Japan visa and stamps as part of OECD exemptions nila. So I am kinda nervous rn but I do hope na approve yung application ko this May.

Hi Dave! I just want to ask since you've mentioned about your Tita using her own bank accounts for them na 3 to travel. What we'll do if I am a self employed since I am freelancer but have DTI cert. I am planning to travel with my partner, but he doesn't have work yet. But he is a freelance car mechanic (not registered). What do we need to do for the application visa, if I will be the one supporting him in our travel?

Hello I just back from Seoul! Hehe. Pinuntahan ko yung mga shooting locations na pinuntahan mo. About sa visa, actually aside from financial information, may weight yung probability mo na babalik ka dito sa Pilipinas. Kahit anong embassy eto yung requirement. Kaya they look at your employment history, and pati nga potential criminal records they check it.

I have a friend and read a blog na 20K lang laman ng bank nya with almost the same ADB na nabanggit mo pero na approve kasi ang dineclare nya sa application is 3D2N lang ang stay nya and back packer hostel lang na 400 per day (or less) yung pag stay-an nya. Pero the person went to Korea for 5 days and syempre mas malaki na baon nya pocket money. 😊
And also a tip kaya may Bank Statement na (kasi dati Bank Cert lang) hinihingi kasi iniiwasan nila ung mga nag dedeposit na one time big time before the trip. Usually yun yung mag ana dedeny ng visa. And if the amount you have is more than the length of stay mo sa Korea, i think sus yun sa kanila kasi siguro iniisip nila baka mag extend or what.

Working visa kinahanglan ba money show
I've applied for a Korean visa 5 times. First time, denied. Next 4 times, approved. 2 single entry, 2 multiple entry. I have travelled to Korea 14 times.
Show money is NEVER a good idea.
First time I applied, medyo bago pa yung bank account ko, coz I won 200k on a game show. I was denied.
Next 2 times I applied, iba na yung work ko, and mas matagal na yung bank account ko. Approved single entry.
The first multiple entry visa, I actually submitted my expense account, wala pang 50k ang laman. but it was an account na halos daily gumagalaw. That is why they want to see your bank statement. Kasi banking activity proves that the money is yours, hindi hiniram mo lang as show money.
Don't provide an account with show money. Provide your real bank account, because mahahalata naman if it aligns with your COE and your ITR.
Cover letters are not very useful. They don't bother with that. Kung ano ang nasa list of requirement, yun lang.

Hi po. It’s best to open an account sa physical banks if you plan to travel abroad kasi requirement po talaga ng most embassies ang bank cert, esp sa Korea. They want to see daw the ADB ih. 😊 meron naman mga banks na you can open an account without a maintaining balance like UB and BPI. 😉

No need na i-envelope when submitting!
Actually wala nmn talagang specific amount. Ung dalawang friend ko nadeny ung visa application nila kahit na nasa mahigit 1 million ung laman ng bank acct nila and 15 years na sa company where they both work.

Kumbaga, transaction lang don is puro save save save, walang transaction na nag withdraw ako, kasi intended ko lang talaga sya for traveling. May possible po bang ma deny sa visa? 600 po ang Average Daily Balance (ADB) niya sa bank account. ADB means the total amount of daily balances in account divided by the number of days in the month. Hehe.
