Mike Yaro that system the rockets are running is very ugly to watch. One guy has the ball for 15 passes then 5 more seconds later another pass happens, then a shot gets taken with 1 second left. Also, they use too much energy and have to struggle for their shots. They better change it up in game 2 or the series will get very ugly for them.

I'm just disgusted by the Rockets iso ball. They literally play street ball where they have one or two players dribble a dozen times and jack up a shot with 3 seconds left. Even if you're not a fan of either team, as a true basketball purist, you have to appreciate the way the Warriors move the ball and play team basketball. I will always side with TEAM BASKETBALL regardless if I'm a fan of your team or not. I'm not a fan of the San Antonio Spurs, but their 2014 NBA Finals display against the Heat was the greatest team basketball performance ever.
I hope that when the Golden State Warriors era is over, their influence on ball-movement and team basketball will continue to thrive in the NBA for years to come. Coaches like Brad Stevens, Steve Kerr, Mike Budenholzer, Rick Carlisle, Quinn Snyder, Brett Brown, Luke Walton, and of course Gregg Popovich, will all lead the NBA to the non-iso ball era. I am so proud that the NBA is slowly moving away from isolation basketball.

You don’t know the game of basketball at all. It is always going to be isolation plays for certain individual players more so towards superstar caliber players or pure scorers. Almost every NBA coach use isolation to get a self call guaranteed bucket including Steve Kerr. KD is a person they go to for an iso all the time. So you are miss informed and incorrect with this statement. Isolation will be in the NBA for ever it is apart of the game basketball itself.
KD joined 73 wins team but unlike that other star he didn't took ball and turned everybody around him into Kyle Korver but become part of pace, space, offball cutting and ballmovment system. BBall is team sport, what makes Warriors amazing is their ability to move personal egos aside and play like a team.
Petar Gulin Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Festus Ezeli, Marresse Speights, Leonardo Barbosa, Brandon Rush, and Jason Thompson weren't there when KD joined but I love how the Warriors can get rid of certain players like interchangeable parts of a car and get new players while still maintaining their dominance.

Andre Withmore curry ruins defense of every team by just being potential treat. He forces, with off ball movment teams to play 4 on 4 and in most cases 3 on 4 because 2 guys track him. He is not just best shooter ever, he is ealsy after Shaq biggest defense killer ever. Shaq was too big for 1 defender, even 2, and that left space for others, in similar way 2 defenders have to chase Curry around and that allows others to shine.

Basically the Rockets play iso ball and rely on their scorer's raw talent, they're playing it as if it's a 3 point shooting contest. It worked in the regular season but won't work now. GSW on the other hand maximize their performance by playing beautiful team basketball. If this continues it's an easy WCF win for the dubs.

getting KD in the warriors stint..steve kerr did a very good job on dealing with KD..he know's the moves of KD very hard to stop/ unstoppable..a 7' tall who can dribble, shoot, drive, penetrate..original moves by KD..salute to the man...basketball my hobby also.
