I think it’s because there are virtually no rappers, within fanbases this lineup isn’t really congruent with a lot of rap fans in my opinion . It’s really only Lil Uzi, Ken Karson, Destory lonely, and Nav and Lil Yachty, skepta meh, I’ve spice, a pop artist and Coi Leary pop artists. I think Florida is the one where all the rappers go to though

Ykw, imma be positive about this year’s Coachella now. Even though a lot of people hate it, I think it might actually be really good.
I like this line up. But I might be biased since I love kpop and jpop, and Ateez, LLeserafim, Attarashi Gakko are some of my favorite groups.

Ateez is insane. All their songs are great. I love Cyber punk, Win, Crazy Form, Say my Name, Wonderland, Fireworks. Another amazing artist that will be performing at Coachella is The Rose. I wouldn't miss them.
The electronic undercard is fucking insane man!! Justice, Gesaffelstein, Orbital, Skin on Skin, Two Shell, Mall Grab, Brutalismus 3000 and Clown Core to name a few acts I’m hype for!
Hate is always louder than positivity. The comments on every festivals lineup post is always majority haters. You really need a diverse palate to get the most out of coachella. Deftones, Blur, Narrow-head, Bicep, Kevin Karl, Everything Always, and Peso Pluma are some of my must see. Hope we get another late band add again this year.

I'm turning 30 in two weeks and I'm going for the first time this year is that weird? I'm also a city girl (New York) who can't drive, I'm trying to find someone who can drive to come with me so that we can lock things in like a rented car maybe when at the festival but so far no one can make it so I guess I'll be in regular camping by myself?... o.o Anyone reading have any tips? Maybe it's not a good idea and I should sit this one out but I've always wanted to go and feel I'm already too old idk... but yes first timer here hope to see you and everyone there!

I loved the lineup last year and a lot of people hated it! It was a dream lineup for me! This year isn’t my cup of tea but I can appreciate that it might be someone’s dream lineup!

People say this every year…I went to my very first Coachella last year(1st weekend) and I thought it wasn’t gonna be as great but I was wrong, definitely best festival in the world if you going for the right reason. I think the people that hate the lineup either don’t really listen to music or just going for social dopamine. This lineup brings back 2012 era of music, it’s cool to see T finally headline Coachella
This is my 14th year and I always buy my pass before. I don't care who plays. I love music and I'm always open to new music. From reggae to Punk. Its definitely a good lineup.

Been a fan of Deftones since 1995 Adrenaline Album dropped highschool days.. been waiting since Coachella 1999 for them to be put on the line up. If you think Blink 182 was wild just wait and see what energy the Deftones are gonna bring. Can't wait for them to play in our backyard. 🤟🏽🤟🏽
I'm soon down to go to the festival. I'm impressed with the line up. I just waiting for the pre-sale tickets to go on sale for me to comeback. I'm down to see No Doubt, Peso Pluma, DJ Snake, Young Miko, Bizzrap, J Balvin, Sublime, Lana Del Rey, Deftones, Dom Dolla.

Last year was just too good . The Chemical Brothers , Eric Prydz , Skrillex, Knocked Loose , Gorillaz , Calvin Harris , Porter Robinson and Bjork. 2023 was so dope

I agree with Headliners, Graphics and Total Number of Artists this year, it is looking bad for Coachella but for KPop Stans it's a Win Cuz-

Le Sserafim- They are Great Girl Group Performers- Songs: Eve-Psych-BlueBeard's Wife, Perfect Night, Unforgiven, Anti Fragile

To everyone hating the line up it’s like tell me you only listen to mainstream artists without telling me you only listen to only mainstream artists lol also like you’ve said before Coachella is about the experience! I saw artists years ago in Coachella I never knew but they’re huge now so I trust Coachella does their research to give the attendees the best experience no matter who they’re watching

I don’t get the hate towards doja? She’s such a good performer. Have they not seen her performance in 2022, it was the most viewed performance for a non-headliner ever.
I think is has more to do with her controversies cus of things she's said and how she's treated her fans. I don't remember now what it was exactly but there was something last year that she said about her fans that offended a lot of people and when I read about it was flabbergasted and was glad I was not her fan. Don't remember what it was
This is the first Coachella where i’m considering doing both weekends. I’m assuming that people are disappointed because they don’t know a lot of names on there. On the other hand I know a lot of names especially on the undercards, there are going to be a a lot of conflicting set times. People I’m excited for are Hatsune Miku, The Drums, Mdou Moctar, Depresión Sonora, Atarashii Gakko!, Brittany Howard and someone I think Angel should check out Son Rompe Pera!

Im going for some because anti up { chris lake and lorenzo beats} , peggy gou, gorgon city, steve angelo, sabrina carpenter, 1 thing that i really enjoy about coachella is the vibes. people are so cool there. many of the people i met are so outgoing and social. I went to a to GeoJam, 818 Tequila pop up, many other parties outside campus.
Lineup is truly weak.
The more positivity - the more you’re letting GV get away with this. They’re selling the Coachella experience rather than the artists at this point.
The ticket sales is a clear indication that people aren’t buying into the artists this year.

If you think about it, they hurt themselves by doing so many 1 day events this year. There are only so many artists available. So they’re gonna easily survive this year and be profitable but our Coachella is going to suffer bcuz of this.

On tiktok everyone loves the lineup. Completely opposite on twitter. Coachella is directing their audience towards the younger audience.

Imagine saying "worst line up of all time" having Ateez and The Rose as performers. Also with No Doubt having a come back and with Lana Del Rey as headliner. People that make those comments only box themselves in one type of music or only listen to a couple artists and when they see a line up they are not familiar with it means is automatically bad music. The level of ignorance is ridiculous. Even if I don't recognize the whole line up I still check out the performances because I might discover other artists that I might enjoy. That's what I'm doing this year and I did the same with lollapalooza. I even added some of the artists to my Spotify. Don't understand why some people are so closed minded.
As a local, Coachella itself is the experience, while I do like and enjoy this lineup I understand why people don’t but the majority of hateful comments are coming from influencers who expect certain things

Coachella changed up day parking, Coachella is requiring 4+people in a car minimum to park in day parking. They also requiring 4+ parking decals to be shown.Saying on website that if we don't have 4+ people in vehicle, they are sending them to off site parking. Coachella hasn't even disclosed where off site parking is located. Also website stating must have shuttle pass to be shuttled from off site parking. Do you think this is a money grab for Coachella? Traffic is going to be crazy.

Lot of Indie Rock and House music artists. I know about 80% of these artists. It’s true people who hate the lineup only listen to mainstream. Bar Italia was the biggest shock to me, and Mall Grab is amazing house music

Coachella sells out every single year within hours. Hence why I buy my pass during June presale. First year in 8 years that I didn’t cop presale and I’m so grateful! It’s still on sale a week later, as I keep getting post notifications from CZcams asking me to buy passes. As my Coachella group of about 20 people are all not going this year, to find something fresh. This is my favorite place in the world but the people have spoken. Sadly there is 1 headliner and about 30 less artists then past years. The Goldenvoice agenda is clear. For the price they charge, y’all better hope for special guests better then blink and Sonny 😢 I deeply hope, that Goldenvoice will make a turn around for Coachella next year but only time will tell. 🥺

I have been to Coachella since 2014, but in my opinion the lineup doesn’t meet the demand. They should at least have a famous Rock band as a Headliner. I wish they brought RATM, Korn or AC/DC. I do believe Coachella needs to give opportunities to new artists, but don’t forget about the fans. Have you noticed that passes have not sold out like other years.
Mass produced pop music. Coachella died ever since it started featuring pop. It was originally indie bands.
I get my tickets before the line up is out and no year since Beyoncé has lived up to the expectations. It’s really just gone down since covid. Im going and going to enjoy myself, but compare Beyoncé to Lana, Tyler or Doja.
That one was a special year for sure. We won’t get another one like that until Daft Punk or a legend comes
Been going to Chella since 2015 (Skipped 2022). The lineup compared to other years is very weak. I think people including myself were spoiled with Acts like Beyoncé or Kanye/kid cudi. The Festival is always always a good time especially if you camp, but I think this line up as the least amount of star power. I like House Music and this line up has a lot of good House / EDM but I think Coachella needs to go backwards as much as it needs to go forward. We could use the new and hip Artists but they need to go back and give us the Indie / Rock/ Hip hop/ Pop Renaissance groups we are so used to seeing at Coachella. Even Paul tollet said in the Chella doc, 'People love seeing bands get back together for coachella' Yet we havent really seen anything like that in a few years. Love hearing your insight bro.

They said the same thing last year, and we still went. And what happened? We found a bunch of DJ sets we loved. We followed them those DJ's to other festivals. Also, who knows? Taylor Swift might end up as a TBA. Hell, we got Blink-182 and Skrillex x Four Tett x Fred Again.. last minute for W2! Imagine how pissed people will be if some HUGE names crash the party and they flaked out on going.

Some people are just straight wrong in their defending of this lineup. Every year the names are recognizable by most people across generations (for those saying stuff about being for a younger crowd). They might not like the lineup but at least the artist are big enough or established enough to be recognizable by a lot of different people. This year if only one age demographic recognized most of these people then it is definitely not “how Coachella usually books the lineup,” or why “it makes the festival special”. For example, doja put on a great performance last year (I was there) but a rumored name for that spot in that pop genre was Dua Lipa which is a legitimate pop-star, making doja feel like a reach. Drake, Kanye, Kendrick, and Cole are A-Tier in the current rap world and even other names like Lil Uzi are more established as Tyler. Lana I get, she’s big but with much of an indie vibe but the second line
