Our Rating System:
We are both firm believers that it is unjust to review and rate an album after only hearing it one or two times therefore our method for reviews is much different than everyone else on CZcams.
Our review process starts off with a "listening session" where we hear the entire album from beginning to end, uninterrupted. We then post a video with our initial thoughts and opinions of the album. Over the course of a week we will each listen to the album as many times as we can, analyzing and critiquing it. Then at the end of the week we will post our full and final review of the album which will include our ratings.
Our scoring method is unique to this channel as well. We each rate the album out of 10 but anything 8 and above simply just gets our Toe Tag. In order for an album to make it onto the list above it must receive Two Toe Tags. It if only gets one or none then it does not make our coveted list.
Any album that receives Two Toe Tags is considered a top quality album of elite status and highly recommended by both of us. Be sure to Subscribe and turn on Notifications so you will always be in the loop with all the awesome metal we review!

Heard this the moment it dropped, you guys pretty much had the same reaction to it as the wife and I did as we have been anticipating it's arrival for months now and after we shoveled our jaws up off of the floor from how excellent it was, we watched it like 5 more times lol! It was everything we had expected and more from this lineup, we will definitely be purchasing at least 2 of these CD's, the release cannot get here soon enough, earned a sub for having good taste in music.. I've only known about Crypta for about a week after stumbling across one of Sonia's guitar videos on Facebook, and from there I jumped blissfully down the Crypta rabbit hole. What an amazing band, and I cannot wait for the album to come out! \m/
Can't wait for the album! Coming out in early June. The 7th I think, but I could be remembering incorrectly. Fernanda's vocals stepped up about 10 levels in a year, that's insane... Either she was holding back, to keep the style of the old band, or she did some serious studying and training lately.
The clip was recorded in Brazil, and the making of was released by Napalm on their channel.
The album was recorded here in Sao Paulo.

I could be wrong, but I think the girl in the coffin is supposed to be Prika (the one left in Nervosa), or Nervosa itself as a band (as symbolism), and they are burying and burning their past. No idea if they had a hard falling out or what the reason for splitting off was, but who cares. Then with the 4 floating members "rising from ashes" to form Crypta. That's how I saw it anyway. Pretty brutal track for sure.
They all carry themselves/herselves, nothing to do with Nervosa imo. In the making off they use a double for Fernanda so it's symbolise the old self. Prika is never symbolized in there. I mean, they have split off, it's not like they are going to haunt each other for eternity. And btw Prika is the founder of Nervosa and Luana must have been the 4th drummer of Nervosa. Bands split up, it's common.

All in all I like the drums and guitar but the vocals are a 5050 for me she is no otep or Alisa white
