The AFI Member Needs Assessment (MNA) from 2015-2017 indicates that 26 percent of members are interested in the area of Islamic finance.
Islamic finance and financial inclusion sat among the top three priorities for MNA in 2019 and 2020.
One of AFI’s founding members, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, supports the development of Islamic banking and finance in the country, consistent with the goal of financially including all Filipinos.
