Hell yeah Trickster! Awesome stuff man, I defeated a Dulahan with Tricker and I was sold. Then I went and killed two dragons, Trickster is fun and super chill. Get ‘em boys!
I feel like a lot of DD2 players dont really appreciate how OP Trickster can actually be. Its also a great way to gauge how effectively your pawns synchronize their attacks together without your direct assistance.
@@PenguinsAreColdishIt doesn’t have to be overpowered. What he means is that people are making it seem like the developers should have never made it in the first place. Even if it’s not overpowered, it’s not bad. And even then, calling it bad would be an opinion. Not a fact.
I am currently running the warmaster with lifesteal arrow and a group of warriors/thieves. Just destroying everything. A ton of fun. The lifesteal arrow is unbelievably strong
Once I'm done with my current run as a Trickster I'm going to see how much of the game (specifically enemies) I can solo with the class. Through trial and error I've learned a few things and a couple more thanks to your videos.
Still trying to fully wrap my head around this vocation. It feels great to end fights with the whole party unscathed because you made enemies run around chasing shadows the entire time. Currently my issue with the trickster is that no amount of smoke seems to keep some of the more advanced spells enemies cast from targeting pawns anyway. It's frustrating to work diligently to keep the heat away from the damage dealers only for them to go down as soon as meteors rain down.
Nice video! As I don’t spend a lot of time playing it. See this video, I think what trickster needs to be good and attractive. It needs some ability that some what control pawn attacks. Maybe an ability that when used, forcing all pawns use their attack skills. And an attack (that does no damage that marks a target on monster. To force pawns at attacking specific spots. And climbing would have some meaning to do so. This class would feel a lot more active than being super passive like the current trickster.
Yeah,I think when you attack with the trickster , you to "attract" your pawns to that spot. I show it on the first gryphon fight and also happens on the special Dragon. But its not efficient.
@@thegamerdadshow yeah I’m thinking more of a skill that immediately force pawn to attack that weak spot for few seconds or something. Like the marking from insectglave from monster hunter
@@jungchoothian2039 if you have a sorc on the group, it'll kill things very fast. I didn't use one most of the time because I het a little annoyed with all the spell effects they cause
Ive been watching vids on this vocation to see if im missing something. Nope, was doing the same as you, still boring as shi. I cannot get into it. Cool vid have a good one.
Do a comparison in which you are doing absolutely nothing and I want to see how much harder it is to kill these enemies. I feel like you pawns are too strong and are cheesing them anyways 😅

not everything needs to be overpowered. trickster is not overpowered.
It all depends on the AI. My pawns just keep moving around without actually attacking anything 😂. I hate all of them.

@@Soulknight-jw8ht i'd have to agree that it's a wasted class. i'd love to see the stats of people who actually maxed it
@@PenguinsAreColdish There are some CZcamsrs who actually payed attention enough to max it. Proving thus trickster isn’t automatically a waste.
Didn't know the phantom orbs got blocked by the wall, nice.
Props. I can't seem to gather the courage to trust my pawns for DPS.

Don't forget you can unequip weapon and use fists. Also use tomes, they work on any class.

Trickster needs an AoE Regen and AoE Sleep, then I would be happier with it. Love the vocation though.
The attack buff skill actually drains hp from the pawns hehe

I hate the Trickster so Much.
BUT!! the Trickster is a very good Pawn Buffer with Rings and Augments as well.
Also, did you attach your clone while you where holding on to the enemy? That will be a game changer for me.
Of course! Use the clone button (triangle on the ps5) when you are on top of a monster. It'll make other attack it.

The trickster prevents them from being attacked. That is what makes the difference. If you have a trickster and 3 sorceres, its a magic kill fest
