Couple of corrections:
1. Made a typo with the Galaxy S10's specs - RAM is 8GB, not 6GB
2. Theres a slight glitch on the S10 Plus battery indicator around the 5 minute mark, completely missed this whilst editing! It corrects itself 10 seconds later :)

You should really get your hands on a SD 855 version of the S10+, there is quite a difference in energy consumption between the Exynos 9820 and SD 855 and people are complaining about it.

I have an S8 now I was so exited for the s10 because I knew it was going to be groundbreaking... but it wasn't. The only nice thing was the one ui but now I have it on my S8 so it would feel like buying an upgrade to my S8 but still the same. And that's the iPhone feeling. Same phone but better.
And isn't this the most exiting thing about being Android??? What shall I get next? A oneplus? A huawei? A Pixel? I'm going to miss the one ui for sure, but I want to feel like I bought a new phone.

i switched from a note 7 (yes i hacked it to stop it from being iced by samsung) to a ulefone power 5
performance is not quite as good, but the battery life is the best i have ever had (i only charge it twice a week on average, and thats with similar usage as in the video, but i also have personal hotspot enabled 24/7 and i still get 3-4 days of battery life)

I have a Huawei P20 Pro and it has never disappointed. The battery life was unbelievable when I bought it last March, and it still is. Standby is unreal... If I have 90% at bedtime, I will have 90 or 89% in the morning!

Ikr, I dont think I go for some time without just doing a simple swipe down to see notifications, times, battery, etc, and not disturb the content on landscape mode. On verticle, I still can't live without it.

Especially these kind of test videos, you perform great battery drain tests by using the most used apps, playing some games and run a few benchmarks, the whole combination is just perfect, in my opinion. Based on your first battery drain test video, you improved a lot based on people's comments and suggestions, which is great, it shows how much you appreciate us!
Awesome to see how the S10+ almost manages to beat the P30 Pro, with one released 1 month after the other, I think it meets the expectations.
Also, the iPhones aren't going that bad, everyone must keep in mind that they are half year older than the S10+. I am pretty sure Apple is going to improve battery on the next iPhone, we all hope that.
And, to conclude, I just want to tell you congratulations on all your work, I love these battery drain and your triple smartphone camera tests! Keep it going :D

Screen size, Battery life and camera are my three main concerns while buying a new phone, so P30 pro is officially my next phone!
I can do the screen looks terrible on the way way p30 Pro compared to the Samsung S10 Plus, and the petition the cameras on the p30 pro the pictures are just not any Sharper, not forgetting the lack of it phone Jack and no stereo speakers..
What about the user interface? One UI is miles ahead of EMUI.

The p30 pro can take far pictures, but the photos all look super red. It’s kind of a joke that the camera can zoom in 50x and keep its quality but can’t do basic color correction

For making this a better battery test, you can include standby battery drain. That is a more practical scenario and would help viewers much more in making the decision ( I have seen users reporting issues with standby performance of s10 for example). Apart from that its a great video and shows the effort you have put in. Great job.

Also, he forgot to disable auto brightness, so the XS is actually at full brightness most of the test. Max goes all over the place as well.
@@pilman9429 Yeah, he doesn't seem to know too much about how iphones work or he would probably at least have the battery percentage up. Leaving the auto brightness on would confirm why the battery died faster like I said. The tool used to benchmark is pretty much useless (For many factors.)

What's that battery drain on S10+ at 4:54 min and then recharge back to 30%?
Sketchy test i think, and at the end something happened to speed the s10+ battery drain. It was steady then battery life just plummeted. And the p30 pro won by 6 mins and he added a fuckton of extra time the bellend
logan Wiseley it’s no “sketchy test” it was maybe a problem with the editing cuz you can see that the phone was at 34% when the charge plummeted down and when it came back it was at 30% so the time that it took for the charge to come back dropped 4% and hence it was at 30%

Im sure the battery will be even better on the S11 but ive just took my 8 month old S10+ off charge at 10pm last night, its currently 7.30pm tonight and ive had moderate/high usage including 3 hours watching episodes on samsung browser, 4 hours on CZcams and 4 1/2 hours on instagram facebook etc. I still have 47 percent battery left, this with the maximum resolution and only basic battery saving tips. truly great battery.
It's crazy how the S10+ has lost +- 25mins battery life in the same test done a month before this, 7h 30mins there.

For me the winner is still p30 and not the p30pro with 3650 mah it was able to stand on third position. It would have been the true battery king if it had over 4000 mah battery
I am a mine worker. The power was cut off that day and we were trapped underground. I immediately took out my HUAWEI p30 pro, connected to the elevator as a standby battery and the entire lifting system started to run normally. When I rescued all the workers, I saw my phone : 97%⚡

Just picked up a P30 Pro New Edition in Silver Frost (most gorgeous phone design and color combo I've seen, even including the new Note 20 Ultra in Bronze) and ran the battery until it died and what did I get? 7 hours 22 minutes... exactly your number! That's for 25 hours of use... pretty amazing! I still think this is the best mix of size, design, build, battery, cameras and software... and Google Services to boot!! Love your channel...
After a month, just got 8 hours 10 minutes... lets see if this trend continues...

Why don't/didn't you run the S10 & S10+ on their native resolution?
I know that 2280x1080 is the default it comes out the box, but I found icons to be blurry compared to my iPhone xs MAX: and the iPhone had a lower native resolution.
Turns out the S10 uses 2280x1080 instead of it's native screen 3040x1440. The fact that its downclasing by 33.33% makes the rescale even worse as it has to interpolate unevenly. When I switched to its native 3040x1440 the blurs went away and the screen started to match the iPhone xs Max.
Finally someone who realizes how downscaling works. Non-native resolution will always be blurry or uneven unless it divides evenly. Can’t praise the screen and battery at the same time with these tests.
