Has anyone used the flat side of the 16" clipper sharpener with hook and loop sandpaper somehow to sharpen scissors? I'm looking into buying an arm with convex clamp to try.
I notice a serration on the bottom blade (Geib gators) when sharpening I assume these serrations will be ground off. Is this a problem or do you need to add them back?
I have searched the internet and amazon and i cannot find any arched or convex stones! can you point me in the right direction please? mayne im not searching the right name/descriptuion
It’s not secretive. Just harder than it looks. Shears get bent, dinged up and all sorts of things. If not trained on how to fix and what to look for you can really mess up someone’s expensive shear.
