The ‘connector pins’ did NOT simply slide in like in video. So frustrating!

I have misplaced the connector pins for my shelving unit and can't seem to find any at Bunnings or Mitre 10. Can someone please suggest where I can get some.

Can’t get the pins in to save my life. They won’t even go thru the first 2 holes

is it possible to cut and re-rivet these kinds of shelves? originally 40" wide, i need it to be 34.5" wide. if so, what kind of tools can make this happen? (to re-rivet it and also cut both the frame and the silver rack part)

i bought the 4 tier 1500mm x 810mm x 310mm set in the hopes i could put 2 60cmx45cm aquariums on it. it says 180kg per shelf and the tanks full are 100-120 max. no way i would use this. its very flimsy and cheap feeling. straight back to bunnings sadly.

I just bought one of the 5 tier all metal heavy duty shelves and the instructions are contradictory. It says to put the bottom shelf in the second and third holes from the bottom,, but if you do that then the rest of the shelving spaces don't add up how it claims. It says 12, 11, 11, 11 spaces, but you're left with 12, 10, 11, 11. I could make them all 11 of course, but I'm wondering if I can just put the bottom shelf in the very bottom holes? Please advise. Typical made in China crap with instructions that don't match the product.

I have the same question. For safety, do you build the first shelf at the very bottom or one-two notches up from the bottom?

@@janedoe7583 Hi "Jane" lol. I ended up putting mine on the very bottom holes to maximise space. Just put the heavier stuff down the bottom as always. They are very strong shelves, even though they don't look it! The only thing is it's very close to the floor that way, making it easy for little spiders etc to climb up any part of the shelf instead of only the legs. If that's a concern maybe leave the bottom hole vacant.

Does anyone have the assembly instructions that they can share please? While the video is helpful, it lacks the detail instruction

Do you guys smash this stuff up with a hammer before packing? That's the only explanation for the condition of the plastic foot pads. I couldn't use half and the ones I did manager to hammer on have made the shelf unstable. When you have the bottom half assembled, take it apart again if it hasn't already fallen apart because you will need to hammer the pins in backward to open up the holes they are supposed yo go in. Top tip; use the claw side of your hammer to smash along the fold of the bar to get to the pins. DO NOT BUY

Not so easy as it sounds on the video. Looks the video is for professionals. It would be better if a step by step guide is given for those who would assemble it for the first time and most probably only once. We figured it out finally. Manual is not of much use.

This storage rack is absolute cheap garbage. The mdf ply board is shit and the metal support beams that are suppose to support the shelfing dont hold. The horizontal cross beams bow in and there isn't enough clearance to house the super cheap mdf shelfs,If you try and push the horizontal cross beams out to help fit the shelf in the beams that are suppose to support the shelfing just pop out.Absolute garbage.I bought this on special and I'm still terribly disappointed . I'll be taking this piece of shit back to bunnings and getting my money back.If your reading this chances are you've already bought it,trust me,it's not you its the design of this thing.Take it back, complete cash grab from the company.I wish I read other reviews about this trash before I wasted my time buying it.If you haven't bought this and are reading this, forget it,
    DON'T BUY IT🙁
