You want me to listen to 20 mins of monologue and watch almost exclusively irrelevant scenes to see ONE BLOOPER. No thanks.

I remember a scene in which Ward is giving advice to both boys. Its not really a blooper. But as the two boys turn to get into the bunk bed, Tony Dow breaks character for a quick moment with a corny smile. Im thinking this was probably in the first season.

"Film" is not like video tape. Video tape is magnetic, and so can be erased and used again. But photographic film, once exposed to light, will have the image of the light that came through the camera lens permanently part of the film's makeup. Even before the photographic negative gets processed, you can't restore film to its virgin state to be reused again. So the idea that the bloopers were lost due the film being recycled didn't, couldn't happen. In times past, bloopers were not what we have come to think of them as. They were mistakes, errors, things not good enough to include, and sometimes even considered embarrassing no matter how simple or cute they might seem to more modern audiences.
Back then, mistakes were considered unusable, and therefore mostly trashed. That is why what were screw-ups then, called bloopers today, are rare. People weren't yet greedy enough to look at discarded material as added revenue streams; only as wasted film ending up in the trash can.

The show was off track at times. It was not exactly common for a teenage guy to drive a 1940 Ford convertible.

June Cleaver was in Airplane as a jive translator. She was great and while looking like June Cleaver, she was talking completely out of character. The AI voice in this video is terrible. I can't hardly stand it. No one says 35 m m for film. It's referred to as 35 millimeter. Long gone are the days when actual people speaks on CZcams or tictok videos. 😢
