In "one of the safest" countries in Europe where guns are ILLEGAL, the police don't even carry firearms:
My car was broken into with radio and phone stollen.
I had gotten jumped.
My brother in law was shot to death in broad daylight.
A shoot out happened between "SWAT" and a drunk man.
Since being in the USA, I haven't had any issues...so far.
Stolen*
And in that shootout, one "SWAT" officer was killed(shot through the front door)and so was the shooter. It would have happened to the police, but they don't carry firearms.
My brother in law was stalked overnight, followed to a store the next morning, while shopping his tire was slashed and he was shot while changing his tire on the side of the road. A witness picked him up and drove him 5 minutes to the nearest help where he died on scene. The shooter drove to a public park 45 minutes away and then shot himself. He illegally acquired the firearm by purchasing it from a farmer in a country where EVERYTHING down to slingshots are illegal.
Stabbings, on the other hand, are about a weekly occurrence there.
If someone REALLY wants to hurt you, they will.
People think other countries are way safer... the reality.. freedom of the press means usa reports everything... but also US is the size of Europe! So if anyone wanted to count numvers... it better be ALL OF EUROPE against the 3rd largest country (population wise) in the world

@@kahner93 Thats not how it works.
Very sorry to hear about your loss. Horrible. I'm glad you've found freedom in my home country (and that you surely dont seem to be a parasite liberal - vote for those who destroy your country/state and then flee to Conservative areas and do the same.)
I'm a patriot American that unfortunately currently lives in England. For a bit longer.
It is illegal to carry anything on you for the purpose of self-defense.
Pepper spray is even totally illegal.
People have been arrested for defending themselves in their home by using a replica gun to subdue a criminal until police arrived. Or a mother alone and home with her kids at night showed a knife inside her own home to a group of men trying to break in to scare them away. She was arrested.
Some magistrates have suggested every knife have the point rounded off and at least one "Conservative" MP has said every knife should have a GPS tracker.
But, that's what you get when a couple thousand people are arrested each year due to online "hate speech" (aka having opinions which different from the radical Left).
Anti-gunners: how many children have to die before you put down your guns?
Me: how many children have to die before you pick one up?
💯% FACT.....
I'm sick of these idiots who whine and cry over the issue, yet don't understand the root cause..
Bingo!
💯. The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
Awesome point!
Absolutely correct, my goodness I pray for the day that US good American people FINALLY come together and END the lying sold out tyrannical oath breaker criminal TRAITOR politicians and govt thug employees.. let's give them the punishment these traitors deserve..
This needs to become law. If you declare somewhere a gun free zone. You should then be legally liable for everyone's safety in the zone.
💯
Actually, you are responsible for your own safety. SCOTUS has already ruled the government is only responsible for the safety of those persons "in their custody."
Yes! If you are going to prevent someone from protecting themselves then you are responsible for their protection.
Gun free zones should provide armed security plain and simple. Making a area a soft target protects nobody. Recently ted Cruz offered a bill providing police officers in all schools something that may have helped but alas the anti gun demonrat objected.
Absolutely. Especially with regards to schools because parents are essentially compelled by law to send their kids there. If citizens are ordered to relinquish their children into the care of the state for 6 or 7 hours per day, the state should be liable whenever they fail to protect them.
Always ask Anti-Weapons voters to please put a sign in their yard or on their home that reads , 'Weapon Free Home.'
They won't do it.
So you think pro-firearms guy with 1 or more firearms will erect such a sign at his home ? LOGIC.exe stopped working
Hold on , who even erects such signs on a residential property ?
@@Official_Baba_yagano, they definitely put up signs, I've seen them. Some of them are funny and Parody "ADT" signs for example.
@@Official_Baba_yaga ACTUALLY, I have a sign on my front door that shows a hand pointing a pistol and it says "Forget about the dog, Beware of the owner" so the logic is there, MOST, but not all, gun owners do not have any issues with people KNOWING that there are firearms in thier homes and ready to be used to defend themselves and their property, BUT I have never met, and probably never will find even as many as 1 single anti-gunner who is proud enough to post a sign somewhere on his/her property, any sort of sign that lets everyone know that there are no firearms on the property or in the residence, DO YOU know why they will never do that? because I do, by putting up such a sign lets any criminal element know that your place is a good spot to commit a crime, and why would any sane person do that? but then again, why would any sane person blame guns for gun deaths from bullet wounds? I am still trying to figure that one out, it is sort of like blaming a chain saw for cutting down trees or blaming a baseball bat for hitting a home run, it just does not make any sense to me, everyone knows that guns do not kill people, in the past 1,000 years, (which is about how long guns have existed,) not 1 time has a gun ever shot or killed anyone or anything. And you do not "ERECT" signs you just hang them or post them either on a tree, or a post, or a door.
@@keithcharboneau3331 Buddy , you can't even read . What sign are we talking about ? The sign that reads "Weapon Free Home"
Why are you telling me about a "Forget about the dog, Beware of the owner" sign which hints there is a firearm ?
@@Official_Baba_yagaYes someone pointed out to challenge anti-gunners to put up weapons free signs in their yard, and we all know that they will not do it, but then someone said how about gun owners put up signs in their yard displaying that they do have guns, and he/she claimed that gun owners will not do that, but the truth is, not only myself, but MANY MANY gun owners DO in fact put up such signs, some of them are pretty funny, some of them are flat and just put the fact out there, I was just pointing out that he/she is wrong, gun owners do not have any problems posting a sign or two, or a hundred that they are armed. Thats all.
I constantly hear the same thing. The anti gunners claim people should not have guns, but the same people say we can't trust the government or cops.
They want Anarchy, nothing more.
Or those same people have their own armed security.
@BradanKlauer-xh3hm I think some certainly do.....but I think it's more likely that they just haven't thought through their position. Like most leftists, they read up on the emotions around a topic but rarely read the facts. So their foundation in any topic is very shaky because it's not built on solid ground. Doing vids like this may help some people break through their ignorance and realize that there is, in fact, a logical (not emotional) reason behind the 2A.
In America. Lets clarify that. In America.
Look overseas at the stats from countries with gun control or a lack of.
America fails to learn from other countries and continue to push their ideologies on every other country.
@Cyb3rFck America keeping guns is because we learned from others mistakes. Deaths by gun per capita in America is nowhere near the highest of countries in the world, in fact we are only middle in the world and many countries that have banned guns have much higher per capita gun deaths. Also, we can't find any country that had banned guns where it helped them. They claim it lowered they're suicide by guns but the stats show suicide did not go down but instead change the method. Same with violent crimes and murder... To be fair we should compare violent crimes per capita not just gun crime per capita and then America is one of the safest in the world. In fact the areas of America that's proven to be the most dangerous are the areas that restrict guns to a level makes them useless for normal people. Many countries with higher rape per capita or higher armed crimes per capita or higher murder per capita claim they are better off because the crimes were not with guns.
"Politicians are protected by guns and our kids are protected by signs." 💯
Our kids are not protected
Right, signs that say 'no guns allowed' at that. We used to take our guns to school, had a gun rack in the rear window, had hunter safety courses and general firearms safety as a class and school shootings weren't even a thing. It's strange how the propensity for violence only rears its ugly head once the firearms are removed. This brings forth the truthfulness to the saying 'an armed society is a polite society'. Stay safe and stay armed. ✌🏻
U know though same signs exist in the white house, capital, any gov. Facility, and yet all are protected by words NO! Wait not words what is the word I'm looking for 😮😮😮yha GUNS!!! F.U.B.A.R!! And yet a kid brings in his Hopalong Cassidy cap pistols to kindergarten & the teacher freaks out! Imagine that!
Our kids are made into targets by signs.
Even if it isn’t true the sign should at least say they are strapped and ready to fire at criminals
Please stop clouding the issue with facts.
1980: 160 million guns, 23,000 homicides.
2020: 400 million guns, 21,000 homicides.
More guns DOES NOT MEAN more deaths.
Haha yeah it's another statistic that you're not allowed to talk about that really influences those numbers.
Not mention how many more people, 220 million in 1980, 330 million in 2020.... a 50% increase in population yet firearm homicides dropped by ~9%?
Also there are more instances of people using guns to defend themselves or others in the U.S. on a yearly basis (500k to 1.6 million), then actual gun violence deaths
The criminals are afraid of going to high gun areas..

John, I used to push my daughters into thinking rather than feeling. When we discussed things, whatever the subject, whenever they would say “I feel” in response to my question, I would throw up my hand and tell them I wanted to know what they thought and not what they felt. It has served them well. Darlington, South Carolina

It's a way to avoid confrontation. I stopped saying it because I don't want to say that at work where I need to be more objective.

My wife was talking to the Vietnamese man that does her nails and feet. He's been here for 40 years, pro gun and pro liberty. He said that in Vietnam the government has total control over the citizens. They have no problem coming in your home and making you get out, and if you refuse they'll kill you or put you in prison. He told her that we should never give up our guns because if we do we are just subjects.
OR give up your guns and then only own crappy stuff so nobody else ever wants to take it!
So many people here are ignorant of the rest of the world. Homeless US citizens have better living conditions than many folks around the world. I mean, we literally bathe in drinkable water.

@@nexxterra sounds like a good plan, you go first
This argument doesn't work anymore though. Of course I believe in the 2A but law enforcement force their way into homes all the time without probable cause and if you defend yourself. You are done for legally or with your life. So right now, us having guns as protection against the government is not the protection that is needed. We need protection from government protection corporations and profits over the rights and needs of the people.
It is difficult to win an argument against a smart person. Winning an argument against an idiot is impossible.

Most of them don't they make decisions based off of trendy celebrities and emotions. And yes they vote. Doesn't look good for America.
Student she does not have any real world experience yet. As time goes by your thinking starts to reflect your life experiences. Young people would be crazy to vote Republican. People over 50 would be crazy to vote democrat. Time and real world changes perspective🤔🤔
What all of them miss is the restrictive effect of having so many people owning guns has on government. They think in terms of fighting the government and winning but just like society as a whole the more people who own guns the less likely the government is to overreach.

Wrong! Voting Democrat only has the effect of FEELING good. A serious young person with eyes on the future would vote Republican. And many of us did.
SITUATIONAL AWARENESS IS KEY! Always be aware of your surroundings!
At some point, we "law abiding citizens" need to stop abiding by unconstitutional laws.....
About time you all joined the party. I've been doing it all along. The people who believe blind obedience means you're a good person(like German citizens in the 30's and 40's) aren't slinging all the ad-hominens at me they once were. I refuse to "go along to get along" like German citizens did in WW2. I read books instead of watching football and titties all day. Turns out, it payed off!
The badge to many people proudly wear called “Law abiding taxpayer” is just a proud house slave
That is the ultimate reality. We also need to stop creating laws according to how we want the world to be as opposed to how the world actually is.
Any law contrary to the Constitution is NULL AND VOID!
cute thought but no one has the balls to do so. if the founding fathers telleported here from the past, within a week they would be planning to overthrow the current government and fix it to how it used to be. but they would be cald radicals and domestic terrorists and you so-called "patriots" wouldent even help them because you dont want to be arrested or loose your lives going up against the governemnt
The inability of people to think critically about anything is terrifying. We are becoming a nation consumed by feelings.
That's been the goal of our schools for years. Kill the ability for people to use critical thinking and encourage them to just do whatever they are told.
Death by feels.
Very matriarchal.
Women…
Ask a logical and objective question...
Most people: I feel....
I'm asking what you think not feel.

@@John-uo1qf The first two minutes told me all I need to know, and I must say that I certainly don't trust my government (especially given their track record in the past 23-ish years)
Look at it this way, while the society is still armed they work for you. Give up your rights, and then you work for them. Whether you like it or not. And once rights are gone, you won’t get a do over. They are gone for good.
I have a theory most people who want to ban and confiscate guns think this for one of three reasons:
1. They believe the State should wield absolute and unchallenged power, and armed individuals are a threat to this end.
2. They fear what they do not understand and cannot accept not all violence is inherently evil.
3. They struggle with their own violent urges, or are terrified they are capable of uncontrolled violence, and assume everyone else in society must have this same internal struggle.
I like this guy he even pushes people who agree with him to explain themselves as well
What I saw on the "man on the street" section was many meally mouthed answers by people that have never had to deal with an individual who was being unreasonable and/or threatening on a leathal level. Basicly children kept safe from all the bad and coddled.
I had a non military friend who, well let's say he was a fun guy to hang out with but he failed to understand the purpose of a civilian owning guns. So one day we were hanging out having a couple beers with the boys and I remembered I had an airsoft pistol in my truck. So I challenged him. He had a stick that we'd pretend was a knife or a baton or some sort of nonlethal weapon. The challenge was that he had to touch me before I could shoot him. And not surprisingly the pistol won every time. We got him his first pistol that weekend and now his collection rivals my grandad's and that's saying something.😂
Converting an anti gunner to an enthusiast is is such a great feeling
My question would be, How much training has accompanied the accumulation?
Whatever happened to fighting with your hands and taking an azz whooping to fight another day. Bringing a gun to a knife battle is cowardly act. If that's the only way you can win then just walk away and swallow your pride.
21 ft rule says otherwise
@svenjorgensenn8418 There is no "rule". It is estimated the Tueller Principle. Get better information on a subject before you try to challenge someone.
I live in Canada, where the law abiding citizens are forbidden to protect themselves from the criminals, who, of course, are all armed.

@@lattrelbia2527 Your point is ???
Thank you, John.
I'd love to see more videos like this from you!
"You want all privately held guns turned over to the Trump administration?" was the question I asked a couple of years ago. My liberal family members were like...ya...you have a point. I am happy you took my argument and ran with it more widely. The deeper point is that the National Guard is directly controlled by the President due to a Defense Authorization law from the 1980s which eliminated all state militias in direct contravention of the US Constitution. The states are supposed to have an independent military as a check and balance against too much Federal military power. See Federalist Papers.
The founders were adamantly against standing federal armies. You'd think the leftists against endless war would be in favor of this model where the individual was in control of whether the threat is great enough to leave family and hearth to fight.
It all went sideways straight out of the gate with Washington and the Whiskey Rebellion.
The government passes infringements on its citizens. It should be the other way around.
Isn’t that supposed to how it’s done? The bill of rights are all infringements and limitations of government. It’s how they are written.
There is no such thing as an infringement placed upon the government, only restrictions. The government doesn't have Rights, only US Citizens.
@@Uberragen21 U.S. v. Anthony 24 Fed. 829 (1873) "The term resident and citizen of the United States is distinguished from a Citizen of one of the several states, in that the former is a special class of citizen created by Congress." Though the judge fails to fully admit the circumstance, US citizenship was created as an excuse for the government to claim ownership of all the slaves supposedly freed by the Civil War as chattel backing Union war debts. To this day, black Americans have only Civil Rights.
Brilliant! You've earned my subscription.
Keep up the great work, man.
The 2nd amendment grants nothing but denies Government from infringing on a natural Right every human is born with. Something that the Founders had such insight in being human. ALL laws that infringe on inalienable Rights are null and void.
Absolutely, our Rights are guaranteed, not granted by the Constitution. Many people do not seem to understand this truth.
@@j.l.8000 Too many people don't even understand the difference between inalienable rights and privileges.
That's why you either build your guns or buy them through private sales...the firearms estimates are for known weapons...I'm not an outlaw unless they make me one...I simply believe that it's not the business of our government what you have...that's like sending a list of your armaments before you fight...and that, my friend, is why I never buy firearms through "legal" means...the constitution says that laws controlling our rights are repugnant and should not be obeyed...be safe, remain vigilant, and carry a weapon...peace...
To further this comment, the Constitution does not apply to We the People. It is actually a list of restrictions on the government
Absolutely, I will never comply with any gun restrictions… magazine bans, bump stock bans…. Not one of them SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED is self explanatory and leaves no room for interpretation. Every gun law needs to be wiped off the books. Yes even for felons…. The constitution does not say unless we think you are a bad guy…

Yeah for sure, and I believe it to be a whole lot closer then anyone thinks it could be.. unfortunately
It has already started. We have seen these socialist slowly erode freedoms and liberties, and then speech. They have demonized anyone who does not accept "THEIR" view in spite of any evidence or facts that the other side might present. All while claiming they are the most accepting group. This is not a spontaneous revelation that happened across the globe. It is a clear and persistent push from a group of very powerful individuals to separate and alienate the groups against each other. To create the an inseparable divide. And as we have seen the left wish harm and death to the opposite faction. Does that not sound like the prelude to a civil war? And what do you think the US will look like afterwards if the left/socialist win. (pssst.... take a look at China)

Now you understand why, in the words of Justice Joseph Story (appointed to the Supreme Court by James Madison), "The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them."

Great comments on the difference between civilian skills and military life. As an old SDM nothing prepared me for CCW. As for the best place to carry for a big guy, after 40 years of CCW for personal reasons IMHO with my GP100 or 9mm Commander it's 1:00, appendix carry. I carried for years at 3 & 4, I was always concerned with the weapon being out of my peripheral vision or the access to it and I felt in a T shirt it always printed. I have carried at the 1:00 now for 10 years and anything I carry, either a full size 1911 or my 4" 629 just disappear. I will admit it's not for the novice or someone that doesn't practice but it's secure and very fast.

These videos are edited. Also it’s a knowledgeable person talking to an unknowledgeable person on a specific topic. Then asking what their opinions are. Then hitting them with gotchas so we can sit back and enforce our confirmation bias. Guns in this country are complicated. If they weren’t, then it wouldn’t be such a hot button topic. The person saying there’s nuance in the term “good people and bad people”. Good people in general follow laws, bad people in general don’t follow laws.
*Good people follow good laws, bad people follow bad laws
I disagree. I have a solid set morals. Laws aren't anything more than today's current GOV edicts and I am not ruled.
"Bad people" = people with intent to harm / jackals in human skins
"Good people" = people with inclination and ability to defend from harm / two-legged sheepdogs
Everyone in between are just sheep, ignorant and defenseless and hopelessly incapable.

Oh man, what would the US, which recently came out of a revolutionary war having leased many arms and ships from private peoples, enlisted many voluntary militia, and fought off an infinitely more armed/trained/funded tyrannical gov't would think?
They seem to be under the impression that the people 250 years ago had lesser weaponry to the government at the time or somehow didn't consider the concept of equal arms.
The left is beginning to not support the 1st either… they have begun to view their obedience to government power as virtue.
@@Blue-cq2hlIt's more simple than that. They know the musket fires slowly so they want people to have that instead of binary AR's that might be used to shred their kids. It's a mix of hopium, misinformation and concern about the future. They're more focused on what might be unsafe for their kids instead of civics and rights because the 2A really doesn't impact them (as non gun owners) except as a perceived public threat.
You end up with people too disinterested and militant to learn about 2A or appreciate it, and the politicians and the evening news only make the narrative they know more entrenched.
YUP!
I'm smiling because "Do you trust the government?" is always my prime, go-to question when conversationally people challenge and condemn US legal gun ownership.
Because it's the logical question to place. If one trusts the government and come from a place where the governement is representing the people and nation appropriately. When there is distrust, it creates a need to defend oneself.... next would be a second logical question, would you be more in support of gun control if the government was actually chasing and removing those in possession of illegal , ie stolen or fully automatic firearms..however the government comes for lawful owners, not addressing the criminal element in possession.
The majority always fail to realize they are the defenders of their lives and so the majority of them stay as sheep among wolves.
This makes people easily controlled by both criminals and government. Then what happens is both the Government and criminals are not in favor of the law abiding citizenry. It’s always one-sided. It always has been this way.

Those who wish to use violence against others can only be held in check with the threat - or use - of violence. This is why the Second Amendment is not and will never become obsolete. Until human nature fundamentally changes, which history proves unlikely if not impossible, violence will always be necessary to defend freedom.

Another Line of Questions to ask:
Do Criminals Follow current gun laws or Ignore them?
If we create New Gun Laws will the criminals Start Following those?

You can even do it when there is no fire. The problem arises when a reasonable person would believe it and can cause a panic.
Even the arguments about hate speech fall into this. That kind of speech can be limited based on the harm it directly causes. Making racist comments is about different from inciting or advocating for racist violence. We can see it in a liberal direction with that school protest against the female swimmer. The college's dean even praised the students for their peaceful protest. Meanwhile, they filmed themselves chasing and beating this woman through the halls, and then the police had to sequester her in an adjacent room for three hours because the crowd wouldn't let her leave. These people viewed their physical violence as free speech since they consider it the consequences of the young woman's hate speech. Which goes back to the point of who decides what's hate speech. The dean decided the group's actions weren't hate speech, and she faced backlash for condoning a mob.
Speech should never be limited.
Consensus does not always equal correct.
Just look at when just one man believed the world was round vs everyone else; just one man believed the earth revolved around the sun, and he was correct.
