  • Identifying fake vs real jade using a black light.
You can identify fake/treated jade using a black light because the dye and resin used in the polymer impregnation process shows a glowing fluoresce under a typical black light. It's can be a sublet difference at times but still very noticeable. In our case, it was very noticeable. Please comment below with your questions!

Hi Jackson. I appreciate the video, but once the black light was shining on the jade, the camera zoomed onto your face and away from the jades. Then, after it was cut, the jades were covered by the subtitles.

Just turn your subtitles off that should work❤

I didnt get any info about your video. If it's purple, them it's real. Other than purple, it's fake. Is this what youre trying to say?

He was alright up confusing. It the light glows all over it’s real or fake? Or the purple makes it real or fake? I have no idea!?

UV lights are of two types, short and long wavelength UV light. Which type would you recommend. In your video, you did not differentiate between fake and real jade, instead you lump them together.

Those bracelets are all jade. Some are treated and some are natural. The black light is used to find out if it’s natural or treated I believe that is what he was trying to say.

Hi there! I'm so glad that I rn across your video, especially since there's so many fakes being passed off as real nephrite and/or jadeite. I bought a black light for this purpose, to check my jade. QUESTION: Does all impregnated jade have that blue fluorescence, instead of just highlighting the natural color (with the more purple looking glow in your video)? Also, if only a part of your jade item is impregnated with dye/resin, etc, does this completely devalue the entire piece (as it would make one think that it's a total fake... and is that a fair assessment?)?? Thank you in advance for your time and any information you can provide! ☺️

Yes, you’re right Jackson. The black UV flashlight is a very good way to detect treated jadeite. I learned that the hard way. A black light (UV) flashlight can be used to see if someone has been messing around or having an affair. My girlfriend used a black UV flashlight and detected semen stains on my black men’s leather dress shoes. I was very surprised because I’m usually a very neat and tidy person, and my shoes are always shiny and well-polished. Yet she was still able to detect white semen stains on my black men’s leather dress shoes with the flashlight. I admit I did mess around, but I’m still shocked as to how my semen got on my shoes. I did wear the men’s leather dress shoes when I had a one-night fling, but they were always shiny-looking. The black light detects anything that fluoresces, whether it’s treated jadeite or in my case, dried semen.

Well, I have no idea which is fake or real, u didn’t explain nor did your camera man show it.. your camera man sucks bad! Where did you get him? Under the bottom of the barrel? U dig low for that Camera man! Good grief! I’m no more informed then when I started the Video my friend! I’m actually just more confused! U explained absolutely nothing! It’s not called a black light. It’s called a UV BLACK LIGHT! And does it need to be 365 or 395? or does it matter? A black light is just purple lights and won’t help in this situation at all!! People will need UV BLACK LIGHT to check the Jade. But, u didn’t explain which shows a fake and which is real 🤨
