Before starting any work , we worship God Ganesha to bless the process and acheive success . In Maharashtra , where I live it is celebrated on a span of 10 days . 10 th sept marking the start known as Ganesh Chaturthi and the last day called as Anant Chaturdashi.
We celebrate it with making Aarti and bhajans and making Modak and offering him Hibiscus 🌺 flowers which are very dear to him. Every year this is the festival we look forward to where everyone celebrates it with great Enthusiasm and Happiness.

October : Iss mahine me jo festival hota hai usey NAVRATRI khete hai jo saare Bharat me celebrate kiya jata hai lekin celebration ka tarika har state me vaha ke local culture ki e hisab se hota hai. Basically iss festival me mata rani ki puja hoti hai. Jiske liye Gujarat ka Dandiya aur Garba puri duniya me mashhoor hai. Ye festival bhi 9 raato ka hota hai aur 10th day jise Dashara kahete hai, uss din lord shri Ram ne Lanka ke raja Ravan ko mara tha.
