I have one, when I was testing it and kept pace with a car in front of me at 50 mph to stay with the flow of traffic, a cop pulled me over. Because I had an M1 license, he let me go with a warning for riding an off-road bike on the street. It is quiet but not stealth when it can reach 60 mph. A fun, low maintenance ride as he stated. I would add that their stock seat has a unique texturing that keeps your butt from sliding around. For the trail riding that I use it for, the only thing that I would upgrade if they sold it at their website would be a brake actuated rear light which is currently only a running light.
Maybe they will change the rear light if they see enough complaints? They seem eager to please the customers. As for riding on the street. You dont need a motorcycle license because its not plated or even capable of being plated since they are not on any DMV list and it doesn't meet the FMVSS regs (federal motor vehicle safety standards) for being licensed. example: a motorcycle must have a right side rear foot brake to be a motorcycle which these do not have. At the end of the day police must understand these bikes are still regulated under the "ebike' status or class 2 ebike status at best. Your cop just didnt know his job so he made up a story to dazzle you into thinking he did the right thing by giving you a warning. Cops need to enforce laws...not feelings. He just didnt feel like your ebike should be on the road. Ebikes can be on the road - at the moment.
I would like to see this company make a bigger version, kind of like the ultra bee.
He said they are coming out with an E ride pro SR that will be an actual dirtbike made for competition.
I interviewed another new company called Arctic Leopard who makes e-dirtbikes and they won the Dakar.
Should have had him sit on the eride pro s 17 model because that’s the one In my price range but I’m wondering if it’d be too small

Did he mention when the next iterations would be released. He said the new models would have double the caliper size, massive breaks and straight spokes. Was he reffering to the SR model or just the next batch of Pro ss?
He was talking about the SR. It will be close to a real dirtbike.
Why are a lot of these comments comparing to MX? This is a Surron LBX upgrade option.

Awd? I don’t know of any e-moto awd bikes? There are a few awd e-bikes with pedals. I had an Ariel rider grizzly that had awd. I loved it.
i do know AWD sucks because the front tire will pelt you with rocks

They had test rides inside, not sure why they didn’t do them??!!
Exhibitors had to pay extra to use the test tracks. And the trade show owners would not let exhibitors ride bikes in the isles. There were tracks outside but they didn’t have signs so I never knew until I left the show.
Dual battery option? Wish it could go further or have a peddle assist version…

surron comes stock with a 60v battery, the eride pro ss comes stock with a 72v battery. It also has major improvements (little ones) such as better grips, peg support bar, etc.

where did you test it? lol these bikes are all Chinese made crap that youtubers are glorifying. Please don't compare this to motocross bikes because they are not.
They are e-bikes. I’ve ridden these both at these shows and in the dirt here in Reno. They aren’t junk at all. Sure they are made in China… so is your iPhone and so are carbon fiber Specialized Turbo Levo e-bikes that cost $12,000. Or the Trek Rail CXR ebike for $13,000.
99% of all bikes are made in Asia. Some suck…some are amazing.
I remember when Japanese cars sucked in the 70s. And Chinese AK47s were $75.00 in the 80s. Now a Chinese AK type 56 is $3000!

No way in hell I’m paying 5,000 for that thing. I can go get a real dirt bike for that price used and kick that things ass. 50 mph does nothing for me 😂 I like these bikes but way over priced. 2000 at the most, my kids 65cc would kill that thing and thats for a 10yr old
I thought the same thing until I went riding in my neighborhood. These things are stealth and in all reality 50mph is insane bombing through a neighborhood. I’ve met several guys riding these in Reno and it’s a blast. I wouldn’t knock them until you try them.
As for price. A slow ass mid drive full suspension mountain ebike will cost you $4000. These are game changers for those wanting power in the form factor of basically a mountain bike. It’s on the edge of a bike and MX.
