      I work in oncology. Drink smoothies that includes large handfuls of kale or spinach, with 1 cup of frozen blue berries or mixed berries, (great value), large banana (medium ripe ones makes drink sweeter), with 16 ounces of cold water. I use the Crystal Geyser Spring Water. I drank 1-2 a day, and my hair grew so fast. Also, either quit or reduce red meat altogether. Also, green juice is the best also. Blend large amount of spinach or kale, med-large cucumber, sweet apple, parsley with 16 oz of cold water. You can strain it or drink it as is. Finally, an oncologist stated the most powerful combination on the planet is the ABC drink. Blend Apple, beets, carrots with 16 oz of cold water or you can use a juice extractor. If you drink these consistently, your skin is going to glow and your hair is going to grow like a weed. Google the benefits of all of these drinks. These have also been show to cure cancer. Primarily focus on chlophyllic foods, and good proteins such as grilled or baked chicken, and salmon. The Mediterranean Diet wins every yeat as the healthiest way to live. Please keep me posted. God bless you!

    I get blow outs. But when I don't, I part my hair in the middle and put my hair in 2 flat 2 strand twists. I brush my hair every morning and evening to redistribute my natural oils then twist it back down. My hair gets very stretched and stays moisturized this way. The brushing also keeps the oil from building up and making my scalp itchy, something I've dealt with my entire life. Putting products on my scalp just make it worse so I prefer brushing with no products. Note: after a clarifying shampoo it can sometimes take a couple days for my scalp to produce enough oil to reach the ends, but most of the time I have no issue with this. I do not use hair styling products if I can help it and stick to styles that don't require them. If I need my edges to lay, I use water, a little tension, and a scarf. Or I wear a thin headband that day if my edges are being stubborn.
    Part the hair when brushing to minimize the pull and to make sure every section of hair gets attention. The thicker the hair, the more parts are needed and vice versa.
    Also it is good to never brush all the way down from root to end. Brush part way down, stop, and then brush the rest of the way down. This alleviates some of the tension so that so less force is applied at the end of the brush stroke.

    Like you, I use no heat on my hair what's so ever 👌🏾After washing my hair, because mine is at its weakest when when damp and transitioning to dry, I moisturise and twist to prevent breakage. Two days later, I moisturise again, plait the roots then twist the remainder of the braid, again, to prevent breakage of the oldest length of hair. I feel this method of care suits my fine textured shoulder length greying hair and has drastically reduced my breakage. Keep up the good work, your hair is beautiful ❤️

      This is a really good explanation. I cldnt imagine not blowing my hair after washing so i will try this method. Also, the braid first, twist the rest method really helps too. Anytime i twist alone they always unravel and i often use an elastic band first which is not the best. Ill try this. Thx for info.

    Hair SKRONG!!!! And I'm loving it.
    I dont use heat but, after washing & conditioning I spray my hair with a moisture mix (rosemary leaves, fenugreek & moringa seeds with aloe juice) comb thru, add some drops of oil on the scalp and my ends. I will detangle and brush hair into a ponytail and 2 strand the hair. For stretch I will place a hair clip at the end of the ponytail for weight, place a scarf on my head (leaving the tail out) and airdry. when the hair is dry, I wind the ponytail into a bun.

    I mostly use 6 braids to stretch my hair, take them out after 3 days and divide each section into two to have 12 sections in total.
    It helps stretch my hair better than twists.
    I also use heat occasionally, 5_6 times yearly.

    I have 4C hair as well. But I use heat at least every 3 months. It don't break my hair because my hair in already in a healthy state. The heat is applied during my hot oil treatments...especially does justice during through winter time when my hair is dryer due to climate change.
    I agree with no blow dry, just air dry would be good...but no heat at all...it depends.

    Lovely Hair!!! I typically african thread my hair but today my curiosity got the better of me and I used the blower on low heat (comb attachment). Hair was not freshly washed at all. I just misted each braid individually and gently ran the blow comb thru my hair. I was in 😲!!! MY HAIR has thickened up SO MUCH! Last time I used the blow dryer was probably in February And that has always been low heat tension-method. Can't wait til my 3 year big chop anniversary in March 2023 to see my afro obstructing views!!! For now I wear my 4 braids pinned up and my wigs daily (no glue none of that mess).

    I used to stretch using twists or braids but hit a plateau. I started using the revair and my hair has finally started to thicken up and grow much better. It’s not much heat and it dries hair straight which helps prevent knots for me.

    • @keishapeebles3350
      @keishapeebles3350 Před 2 lety +4

      I've started stretching with a revair as well. I had to after my last wash day battle yesterday. It's 4a medium density very beautiful coils when in wash and go. But very susceptible for tangles. Every time I try washing without being in twist a nightmare occurs. As well as I tried once again to finger detangle only and when I didn't detangle before this washday and not in twist it was not a good day. My hair was broken.I felt so bad it's I was in tears. It's bra strap length stretched. I'm seriously considering locs at this point. But what are you using if you don't mind me asking when you revair and afterwards on your twist. I use all innersense organic products. I just brought their serinity smoothing cream to blow out. But if I'm to move forward I know I will need to stretch my hair to keep it healthy and mend my damage from yesterday.

    • @consciouscrypto3090
      @consciouscrypto3090 Před 2 lety +5

      I'm stretching with Revair now too. I only use a tension of 4 with high heat and thinking of switching to low heat. All I need is the gentle stretch, not for my hair to actually be fully dry. It gets 95% dry in just 15 minutes and I don't even have to run a comb through it after conditioner detangling. I think this will prove to be the gentlest treatment of my hair.

    I have super high shrinkage, tight coils and high density. I've been experimenting with WnG, and I really think I'm seeing less breakage than when I stretched it. I know hair is so individual there is no one size fits all routine. But I WnG, seal with hair grease and then for daily upkeep I moisturize (either steam from the shower or a quick spritz of water) and fluff with a light oil on my fingers. It's too soon to say for sure if this is working, but again I'm seeing less breakage so I'm hopeful. When I do stretch, I prefer braids (I actually get more tangles if I twist. . .dunno why). But I can't braid well enough to have a cute style while it stretches which is why I've been experimenting with the WnG. So far so good.

      @Alicia E thanks so much, I enjoy long responses! I really appreciate all of your hair tips thanks sooo much! I have Aussie conditioner, I add my green protein liquid to it when it’s time for my protein treatment. I wish I would have known that inexpensive shampoo was good for hair growth. I just started using design essentials shampoo for colored hair and elite hair care conditioner, I just started using Camille rose algae renew deep conditioner mask.
      I have a couple of products for growth…. blue magic,21 growth oil, caffeine oil,avocado oil, and a restoring oil that I purchased from someone who lives in England.
      I’m trying not to purchase anything else until give these products a chance.
      I watered and oiled my hair yesterday than plaited it up. ( distilled water)I was thinking about doing it every 3 days. I used my 21 growth oil, I learned this from Janet who lives in England, her hair is healthy and long as well, and she actually sent me a free product last year.
      I have been shampooing, deep conditioning, two strain twisting or braiding every other week, but I may start washing every week so I can use up my alopecia shampoo and shampoo that I also purchased. I made a moringa , avocado, aloe vera deep conditioner last month, it was very moisturizing!!
      I am also spraying my hair with clover water, and thanking God for every strain!!
      I use to spray onion juice as well!
      I trim my ends as needed, but I am going to try to blow dry it out every 3 months to trim as well. That revair is good, but pretty expensive.

I was washing and conditioning… leaving my hair damn for the chebe with shea butter. I would two strand it… cut my ends… two days later… ends need cut again because they’ve gotten thin… I’m waiting on some leave in conditioner to be shipped. I feel the rubber Africa thread is better than the normal cotton type. It is slippery on the hair. Thanks for the video.

    I love your hair and how you style it!♥️♥️♥️
    I have a question and that is how do you know how much breakage you have if you don’t straighten it?
    I could be wrong, seriously!
    If I want a true cut with knowing I have all of the dead ends off I straighten my hair most every 3 months so I can see exactly what needs to come off.
    I would like to know because if there is a way that I can cut off the dead ends without going too deep into the good ones I’m all for it😃

      Good question 😊!I believe breakage can be seen even in the curly state - the hair doesn’t have to straight to see breakage.
      It sounds like you straighten your hair for the purpose of trimming your ends and not necessarily detecting breakage?
      In the past, I have ‘trimmed’ the ends of my hair without straightening my hair and it was quite effective: czcams.com/video/KPBW9lmoBvE/video.html

      Don’t you think you should trim your hair twice a year only? Every three months might affect its growth.

    • @traiemaescott7073
      @traiemaescott7073 Před 2 lety +3

      @@nomzamodee it hasn’t effected my growth at all. My hair grows seemingly fast. I do the same with my daughter. I have been since she was 2 years old. Her hair is down her back. My hair was shoulder length in August last year now it’s just above my bra strap. So I would say it hasn’t hindered my hair growth trimming it every 3 months.
      I was taught that during apprenticing for cosmetology that it’s best to trim every three months. It hasn’t failed me 🥰

      Yes ma’am, I hear you.
      For me to see exactly what needs to come off, straightening my hair temporarily works best.
      I do love your style.
      I’m curious to see the integrity of your hair straightened though.
      There are HUMAZING stylists that know what they are doing who won’t Jack up your curl pattern when straightening.
      I don’t foresee you doing it however it’s my day dream😂😂😂
