The sad demise of Pontiac and Oldsmobile. Thank you for sharing.

In 1959, I was 15. My parents had just bought a Pontiac Bonneville Vista Dome 4dr hardtop. It was Coral top /white body w/coral and white interior. It was STUNNING ! I loved this car.

My favorite was the 1965 Bonneville, my parents had one when I was in high school. Sadly they traded it for a 1971 Grand Ville which wasn't even close to being what the Bonneville was. My first car was a 1963 Pontiac Catalina, I had a lot of fun with that car. I also owned several Oldsmobile models, sad that they are both now gone.

I bought a 1978 Bonneville Brougham as my first new car when I was 21.

Thank you and thank you! This was one of the cars I wanted to see. You covered Grand Ville( Grand Bonneville) and Parisienne. Too bad you could not get into the whole Canadian Bonneville aspect with Parisienne. You did an excellent job. I see the effort placed into the video and the footage too. I smiled watching taking note of everything stated. That was a smooth move describing the change and the length from G Body Bonneville( 1986) and H Body Bonneville( 1987). You did a great job showing the change from 1999 Bonneville and 2000 Bonneville. I have many favorites over the years( 1975,1976,1980-1981,1982-1986,1988( SSE),1992-1999,and 2000-2005 ( the end). I do indeed thank you. Driving Pontiac indeed.

I was given a female friend`s family Pontiac so I could teach her to drive. It was a wide track chieftain and almost the best full size family car ever.

Oh the woeful 80's, government and the economy destroyed the performance and styling aspect of automobiles.

styling wise, the best looking bonnevilles were in the early 60s.

I would love any bonneville from ‘65 to ‘70….even though the ‘70 gets a lot of hate 🤔

The 70 always reminded me of a cartoon eagle with an over sized beak. But I'd still drive it.

I'd proudly park a 1970 Bonneville, Executive or Catalina (especially with a 455) in my driveway compared to an Aztek or any other post-2007 vehicle. The front end of full-size '70 Ponchos didn't have many admirers back then, but take one to a car show today and you're sure to get plenty of compliments. (I always thought the 1971 full-size Pontiac front end was ugly, not the '70.)

@@jamesterakazis6624 Oh, 1965-66 was definitely the pinnacle in terms of styling, no doubt about that. But there's still no comparison between the '70 styling to an Aztek or any current-day vehicle. Yeah, the schnoz on the '70 is certainly different and unique, but in a good way.
