I am genuinely very excited for this movie, I hope it's executed well with a good storyline.
it will not be Adipurush as the movie's name has gone through lot of research. Kali 2898 AD is 6000 years after mahabharat and its not given in any unpishad. They found that when there was a king in the karnataka region(I don't remember name of the king or the mandir sorry) and he wrote the year that how many years before the mahabharat was held and it was not in years I was in their calender so if we convert that it says the years the Mahabharat was held. So when we add 6000 years it reveals the year 2898 AD hence the movie name

@@desiDJ909 first of all, that's not communist, it's anti-capitalist at best. Which is not projecting anything. If you look at the state of the world right now with the rising economic divide, and draw a graph predicting the future, what's being shown in the movie is pretty realistic. Of course evil poor people and rich good people exist, no one's saying they don't, it's a disingenuous criticism. And coming to the story of kalki, of course it's not 100% the same as the scriptures, it's a sci-fi movie. A Science Fiction movie. First people cry about Indian culture not being represented in cinema, then when it is represented then people have problems with makers taking creative liberty.
The reason content based on Indian culture is rare is because of insufferable people like pratik who hound makers to stick to their own arbitrary moral code.

Shri Krishna didn't took mani from ashwatthama,he himself gave up his mani on the insistence of vyas ji. So we don't know what actually happened with mani so there is a possibility it was with him all the time

I think Prabhas' character Bhairava is not Kalki since his name is Bhairava, instead he is a Messenger of Lord Vishnu, who is assigned with the task to unite the 7 Chiranjeevis, before Lord Vishnu descends on Earth as Lord Kalki.

अश्वत्थामा getting his मणि back can create controversy, as it os a deviation from our epic. So this movie shouldn't be seen as an adaptation of epics, rather an individual interpretation only.
