  • Combining live-action footage shot in Mongolia with CGI software used in Lord of the Rings, the recreation of battle scenes is taken to a new level in presenting the story of how Genghis conquered an empire greater than the Roman Empire at its peak.

I'm Korean and proud to have haplogroup C3. Koreans and Mongolians are brothers, we have an ancient connection but the connection is complicated in a way. Our mtDNA are similar to Mongolian/Buryats but only 11-16% of our Y-DNA are similar to Mongolian. Our Y-DNA are closer to Manchus with some added Hmong and Chinese.
Manchus also have an mixture of mostly Mongolian/Tungustic, Korean, and little to some influence of Chinese Y-DNA and mtDNA.

and 50,000 is about the same amount genghis khan had,and he conquered more than alexander
the big thing is that alexander was born into royality and power, while genghis khan had a dark childhood of being betrayed and losing his father and struggling to survive and all that

There is evidence that he maybe mongolianized Kazakh. I was in an Kazakh forum and he said the actor has ancestry from western Mongolia where ethnic Kazakhs live. During the Mongolian republic some Kazakhs became mongolianized linguistically and in identity.
It's not rare for Kazakhs to have some people to look like that (although most are closer to mongolian in looks ), but I have not seen any mongolian man with this look.

He has ancestry from west Mongolia, which are ethnic Kazakhs. There is record that some Kazakh during the republic of Mongolia became mongolianized. He looks like an mixture of Mongolian and Caucasian, some Kazakhs look like him though most look more closer to Mongolian but no Mongolian I've seen look like him accept for one model.

i agree with you. The mamluks were the ruling aristocracy and its not very likly the whole of the country was some kind of ethnic mameluks. the leading theory is that Egyptians back then were a admixture of Nilo-saharan race and semetic -arab race. and that the original ancient ethnic egyptians were no longer on the earth and had been admixed and became extinct. Mamluks were a force to be reckoned with for a time.

Chinese are Sino-Tibetan speaking people like Tibetan, Bhutanese. There 1000x more Mongolian genes in Central Asia than in China and Korea. The Mongolian genes in Korea came long before Mongol empire, and the Mongolian genes (12%) in North China was another mongolic group who became sinicized and became Chinese.
Southern Chinese, the Cantonese and Hakka are not pure Chinese, they are an mixture of Chinese and Southern aboriginal, it's them who made Inner Mongolia and Manchuria part of China.

Which by the way is VERY far from the little territory theceltic people had left at that time after the romans ROFLStomped them during antiquity.

Germanic Tribes like English and Germans created the current world order. East romans eventually got Pownd by turkish civilization thats how they ended.

As a result every muslim was butchered in the city. But then rose a another muslim army of few thousands called the mamluks of Egypt which defeated the mongol empire. If u want to further debate on this give me ur email. Get ur facts straight next time!
