- (Scifi content, AI used for animation generation) In the 1950s of the parallel world, in which some events took place and others did not, railroads developed around the world in a similar way, but with notable peculiarities.
Each country used different technologies according to criteria related to their raw materials and trading /geostragical partners. All this resulted in a diverse ecosystem of rail-based modes of transportation, which evolved from new redesigns of old diesel engines, to hybrid hydrogen traction, to magnetic cruisers with their train axles to match the tracks.
In this clip we can see different arrivals and departures of various engines that populated that possible parallel past.

@@crackerbarrel6965 Thanks for comment. We use several tools as Comfy UI, Midjourney, Runway Gen2, Luma, etc. Then also a list of standart photo edition and video compositing soft, and little bit of Blender. Still in the multi-tools labyrinth😅

And memories ... I was born in 1955, Berlin, the american sector of occupation, district of "Neukölln", today a babylonic swamp, way back then something near to Paradise.
I was a kid under the age of six (afterwards, we moved to Hannover) and I was allowed to ride the metro on my own, nothing could have ever happened to me.
From Hannover we often used to fly to Berlin by plane, it was much faster and less annoying than going by car through the "GDR". Nobody was crammed together within some security like would be criminals or herds of cattle, we were kindly invited into the plane, men in suits and ties and hats, women in beautiful dresses and so on. It looked and smelled like civilisation.
During the times of the covid-farce, I began to write dozens and dozens of things down, what contemporaries will hardly ever have experienced, from phone cells via tape-recorders to steam engines (how I miss them, they were the incarnation of the haptical world).

Thing is, my mother-in-law, who lived to be 101, was of that depression/world war 2 generation that NEVER threw anything away, had old appliances that looked sorta like these trains. She had this super streamlined, chrome iron that like something from those old flash gordon movies, and probanlbly weighed about ten lbs. 30s and 40's they streamlined the crap out if everything!
There were also more, damn waffle irons than i thought pre-war America could have made. Clearing out her apartment was a real ordeal
What a fantastic true story, it is very nice to see that these videos remind you of details of your lives. The modernist aesthetics were really great. These trains look like something straight out of "Flash Gordon" and "Buck Rogers." Though very realistic looking, nobody is going to mistake these for film of actual trains since we never had anything so nice in real life.

Very cool designs, I love the elegance of the styling of the trains and the way the people are dressed . It's a shame we don't have something similar in todays cookie cutter society . However Japan has some pretty cool trains .

I'm so taken aback by the polished metal skins on the trains; while irrational (as far as the environment being mapped) they work brilliantly!
I found myself going back and checking... there are areas of light/dark that correspond roughly in some, but in others, it seems almost random; is it sourcing film/video for reference to produce this, is it a product of your AlgoMagic(TM), or is it a combination?
It is a combination of images produced in Midjourney under strict aesthetic custom prompts and then modified in other graphic editing programs. It is then animated in different AIs that have been trained on hundreds/thousands of movies, from which it takes grain, flicks, blurs, colour, etc. The movement is generated because the AI simulates a virtual world based on the image on which it then moves.
The music is also generated with AIs, always seeking to fulfil the environmental and thematic ideas and the mood we want to achieve. In the end, they are tools, and they don't give final results with a button, you will always have to work in postpro and editing a lot to have something solid (it depends on your tastes).
Sorry if I've explained myself badly, but that's more or less the process.

@@benwetzel8449 We worked in postpro and composition a lot, we came from vfx and for us, AI is a tool, not a button that you press and it creates all the content. It saves you time on things so you can focus on other things. But I take your point. I hope you get to enjoy some of the videos at some point, thanks!
