- The Battle of Britain Airshow at Headcorn Aerodrome featured no less than 4 Hurricanes and five Spitfires. Some great Warbird action from these Iconic Aircraft. Also the C-47A Skytrain and T6 Texan Aircraft featured in the show, along with the B17-G Flying Fortress.Parachutist's from the Pathfinder Parachuting group also made jumps throughout the weekend. The Hispano HA1112 - M1L Buchon also played a big part in the show with a dogfight with Aero Legends Spitfire 'St George'. A spectacular airshow in the sky's of Kent at Headcorn Aerodrome. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight played there part with two of there Spitfires taking to the air.

The best and most friendliest air shows you could ever wish to visit .Awesome guys just awesome
Yes nice to see the old Hurricane being well represented!
Nice to see more Hurricanes flying - still does not get the recognition it deserves for the vital part it played during the Battle Of Britain
Believe me its getting the recognition for the part it played in winning the Battle, by every genre that supports this magnificent aircraft. The many restored examples flying today bear witness to its universal popularity as the first of the many to fight in the Battle of Britain.
Beautiful footage, respect to all that fought and never came back both foe and ally
Wonderful warbirds and production on this.
The 109 always looks really happy from this angle 1:33
Thank you very much for the video, great camera work.
many Thanks Chris...........sure was a great shot this year..........Regards Barry
love the. flames 🔥. coming out. the engine
Great footage, Barry. Looks like a very nice show. It's just brilliant that there are so many airworthy Hurricanes these days,
Thanks Ivor the Battle of Britain Airshow gets better every year, great to see so many Hurricanes & Spitfires in the air......Regards Barry
I was there!
Wonderful provincial airshow under Kent skies in a very realistic setting. Reasonable entry and food prices. Laid back atmosphere with all the top pilots flying for our delight. Parky, John Romain, Charlie Brown etc. All happy to chat to you on the crowd line. Awsome to see the Hurricanes all flying together. One more than Hamish Mahaddie gathered together for the making of the B of B film in 1968! That film turbo charged the restoration and airshow scene.
We couldnt believe it when Ray Hannah paid £285,000 for Spitfire MH434. Now its value is priceless with most Spits now changing hands for 3 or 4 million pounds. Dont we all just go weak at the knees when we see them fly. Want a dual experience in a two seater Spit? £5,500 for an hour or so. Insurance and maintainance costs are massive!!
These show are up close and very involving. Much nicer than the bigger shows. A wondeful day out for all the family.
Fortunate enough to have had the chance to have flown in the battle of Britain run with Flt Lt Charlie Brown.
What a great show
fan bloody tastic camera work, loved every minute of it.i went yesterday and the weather was so bad nothing flew.
thank you so much for sharing.
Many Thanks good show again this year despite the weather........video coming up.......Cheers Barry
This sound is unbeatable...
Great to see so many Hurricanes! Particularly for a BoB flypast. Finally getting the nod it deserves!
Thanks James........I am lucky to live near Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent were Aero Legends are based and we now see Spitfires operating out of Headcorn all through the summer......Regards Barry
@@BarryPrice1959 lucky you! Would love to hear a Merlin on a regular basis! Was involved with the SAAF (South African Air Force) Museum Spitfire, some years ago a rare low back MkIX......great memories!
Wow! Great vid! Thank you!
many Thanks Ted.......Regards Barry
Heheh. The Buchons have been in the public eye, and ear, for decades now, but I still can't get used to a Bf -109 making a sound like a Merlin.
Great video thanks for sharing
Thanks Ian........glad you enjoyed the footage........regards Barry
The Spanish 109 has a Merlin engine. During WW2 it would of been a fuel injected Mercedes engine.
16:43 goosebumps!
Great video Barry. Wish i was there to see it.
Yes we have had some great Spitfire action down at Headcorn and Im looking forward to the summer of 2020 and seeing some more Spitfire action............Cheers Barry
I was at this headcorn show 2019
"Let's show the humans what we got team"
Select your targets, there's no escort
"Help Yourselves Everybody -There's No Fighter Escort"
Wonderful. Wish I could have been there. What's the latest news about this year's show, is there going to be one?
bad ass
That's in Lancre, isn't it?
Brilliant footage, what do you use for filming, looks very smooth
I use a Sony Ax53 its has a built-in gimbal and 3 electronic image stabilisers you can choose from depending on what subject you are shooting..... I have also made a hand held rig to make it more stable to hold...... Regards Barry
@@BarryPrice1959 Ah nice, thanks 👍
Such a shame that the weather has put a damper on this year's show (2020).
After all of the work that went into organizing it, the organizers must be
feeling pretty sick.
Thanks for this, nice footage. Can i ask what camera you used ?
Hi Cliff I use a Sony AX53 Camcorder with a hand made bespoke hand held rig.
Dang! Overprimed and had the throttle set too far past idle, on old stripey! Lucky she was still warm.
Thanks For your Comment James.......we are getting more and more Spitfires and Hurricanes taking to the sky;s now with a few more 'Restorations' in the pipe line.........still as popular as ever at Airshows across the country.........Regards Barry
Are there any Ju87 Stukas left?
Hi Victor no there are no flying Stuka's at the moment but I think there is a restoration project going on in Europe to get one Flying.
@@BarryPrice1959 Thanks
