    Thank you for sharing your valuable inputs. I have a question here which is better to choose among these two IFC(CSI) or CIFC(IFIC)). Investment Funds in Canada (IFC), offered by the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) OR The Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC), offered by the educational arm of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC). Please help me understand the difference.

      IFC and IFIC is one and the same thing, just offered by 2 different institutes. Banks require IFC or IFIC (For Mutual Fund License). Lately CSI has been gaining too much popularity for the wide variety of courses they offer and have collaborated with lot of colleges and workplaces.

      It's not compulsory but it gives more confidence to the employer, so good to have. Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting or Business Management servers the purpose well.

    I have completed Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning like the guest you had today in 2012, I also have MCX, MCCP, Capital Markets, NSE Certifications which deals with Derivatives, Mutual Funds,Bonds however these have now expired and I have changed my sector to IT now.😊

    It is IFIC not IFC and there is no need to do IFIC and CSC both as it is not required at all . You don’t need to do either course and banks give you 6 months to do these courses and pay for it . I came and got a job in 2 months in a top bank . No bank asked me to do IFIC or CSC before joining the bank
