2Kings19 -Yes, a lump of figs wa set on Hezekiah's boil and was healed.
God was more than Gracious in granting His wish, we should not be shocked that this may have been right around the average life expectancy back then, whereas now we would think age 30 is young. So he mae it to 45 in earth years, and in his mind was re-assured God was pleased with Him. It's not what we do or say, it's what He does within us, not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.

As it turns out, sometimes we don't know what we are asking for and shouldn't have asked for it in the 1st place. You ask what are you saying Joe? Well, think about it, did he really use the time wisely? Manesseh was born, and we see what took a whole lifetime of God working in the heart of one who turned wicked and evil to get him to come around. So his son was for the most part no good and barely salvageable, and his grand kids even worse. That is for starters. When King Hezekiah was told the doom and boom was to be lowered on Israel, he thought to himself, oh good, at least it wasn't on my watch. What happened to urgency and care to pray for his people? These 15 yrs really were better not asked for, but God sometimes allows us to see that, and also that no matter what He can still work His plan out on the canvas of time.
