Same. I just woke my baby girl up and held her tight. My 11 year old wasn’t really having it since she was on her iPhone but I made her hug me anyways, and my 14 year old! Dang, this song kills me..especially coming from a broken home where I saw many a fist fights..drug abuse, stuff I won’t ever even talk about but I had great parents..they just weren’t good for each other and I will never put my baby girls through that.

This song gives me chills to the point of shivers. "I know that man up there on that cross. I don't know his name, but I know he got off." I believe this has happened, does happen and will happen until Jesus returns. I heard the testimony of a girl that had been kept in a closet for most all of her young years. Once she was rescued and was interviewed, she was ask what she did all that time locked in that filthy closet. She said she waited for the man on the ceiling to visit her. She was ask what happened then. She said they would sing song. When ask what song, she said they sung Jesus Loves Me. Now, this young girl did not know Jesus and she did not know that song. For she had spent her very young life until she was rescued in the closet cut off from everything.

The earliest memory I have is my sister and me ( I'm the youngest) we were hiding behind the door frame of our room and watched as my mom's bf at the time held a shot gun to her head i still can hear and see the panic on her face ( i was maybe 4) ..she told us to run and i slid under his legs to go outside and we ran ...our uncle was a cop and he stopped it ..my mom then got a new bf who would go on to be married to her for 18 years and during that time when he got drunk ...he broke her skull...threw her down stairs...eyet she stayed...we begged her not to but she stayed...she then met an amazing man who doesn't even cuss... And he has been her savior but now she treats him how she was treated and I have to tell her ...true love doesn't hurt that he isn't them he won't hurt her ....it's a crazy cycle it's heart breaking ....everyone.. man , woman , child, deserves to feel both safe and loved in a relationship... We cannot change the past but i refuse to let the cycle continue the good that came from it is all is i learned how not to live...i got to see what poor and selfish choices does to people and life... I learned alot which has placed me on this beautiful path i am now on ...everything does happen fot a reason

Wow. This old lady was bawling her eyes out. Not just for the hard time the little girl went through, but what those parent's life choices ultimately lead to. I always look at it this way...what started this all off? Were the parent's abused? I still think that the parent's were adults and old enough to know better, but maybe not equipped for the job. Nevertheless, NO child should have to go through any of that. No sir. JMJ said it just perfectly and made it such a touching song. You're the best, Billy! Happy Monday!

A very good lesson I heard from a preacher who said: Remember ONLY god can create something from nothing, and think about that. Therefore, evil never comes from nothing. it always, always spreads. It propogates. It begets itself, but it never comes from nothing, never from out of nowhere. Only god creates something from nothing.

Check. You name it, we either saw it or saw kids who saw it. And so many times the kids gave no where safe to go. No where safe to hide. I am so glad that this kind of activity has been made known. And that there are good people trying to help the innocent victims.

This has always been one of my favorite sad songs.
Your reactions are so raw, and I love it.

I don't have any children (I lost my wife in 2010 to cancer) but I do believe in God. I'll admit that I don't go to church like I should. This song is one that breaks me down EVERY TIME. I'm not one bit ashamed of it. There's several other songs that get me too.

Almost cried. I was abused as a kid and yes I would run and hide and cuff my ears like that. Also I have a daughter and she is the center of my universe. Can't imagine how people can put kids through this shit when kids are innocent angels on earth. Just very emotional.

It is such a blessing watching you discover songs that touch you and allow you to feel God’s touch through some of these songs as well as your emotional responses to so many! It’s one thing that makes us appreciate your reaction videos and enjoy them so much and allows us to be blessed at the same time!

I'm more spiritual than religious, but I do believe that there are angels that watch over us! This song doesn't pull any punches emotionally. And honestly, the first time I heard this, I cried.

  • @anthonyakaajjohnson9124

First time I heard this song I cried like a baby and yes sir to do believe in god I also believe that God wont put nothing on you he would not help you take off meaning in your darkest hours he will pick you up and carry you through it

I'm a believer in Christ. And I agree with you, there's good people, and there's bad people, but it's never too late to turn to God.

Me and my family are believers of Jesus and God. They had already done so much for me and my family. They sent my dad to saved my mom from her abusive father at age 16. They saved my oldest brother and my mom when he was 6 months old from drunk driving on the way to church. They saved me and my 2 year older brother from two different types of cancer 9 months apart when I wasn’t even a year old yet.
