- So I bought a sticker cutting machine and attempted making stickers at home… and hey it worked! I make quite a few different sticker sheets this vlog and you get to see me fiddle around with my new silhouette portrait 3. I did think about getting a cricut but there were reasons for my final choice. If you would like a more in depth video on the sticker making process then let me know and like the video for good measure. It always helps 🥰

What's the sticker paper you use?
Thank you. I'm trying out a few different ones. This one is from a brand in Australia. Can't remember off the top of my head. It's matte vinyl made for photo quality though. I would love to try online labels but it's too expensive to have it shipped to me ☹

Heya 👋 my sheets are around 4000px by 5500px or 170mm by 230mm, and I have it set at 600dpi but I know 400dpi is good too

Thanks for sharing this video. I'm planning to get a sticker cutting machine too & torn between Cricut and Silhoutte. We have a store in town which sells Cricut but not for Silhoutte, I need to order it online but the Silhoutte has a smaller sized machine which will fit nicely on my desk though. Is there a main reason why u didnt get the cricut?
There are several reasons why I didn't go for the cricut - 1 is the amount of space you get to print on, 2 is that i heard the cricut can run into alot of registration problems (this was what I read about a year ago, things can change) and 3 the cute size of the silhouette was adorable and simple 😍
