Beautiful Fabric Scraps Ideas To Make For Sell & The Order Is Endless / Easy DIY Coaster/Pincushion

- In this video tutorial today I am sharing with you how easy to make something for sell by using your fabric scraps. The first style is a pincushion but you can use this technique for the coaster , instead of sewing the button in the center, you may have to cut a round felt fabric and sew it on ( that way when you place a cup on it will hold up nicely and flat.
The second style is a coaster , you can make this as a set of 4. 5, 6 or however you want for gift or for sell during the holidays or for any even.
To make a decorative pillow, you need to cut out a 20” circle and 12 of 12” square and do exactly the same as shown in the first style.
Note: you may need to use machine sew to sew each piece 1/4” instead of hand sew because they are big and hand sew will takes you a year to finish 1 pillow 😂🤣

I just love these projects. And, your comment on the C section made me chuckle. Myself, I was delivered that way back in 1968. I was a preemie at 6.5 months. I weighed THREE LBS & THREE OUNCES. My Mamma told me how i lost down to TWO LBS & TEN OUNCES shortly after birth so I was a miracle baby then ! 😉. Then, at the age of ten, i had the illness called Reye's Syndrome. So that was my second time being a miracle to my parents. I'm okay now with a few health problems - some stemming from the Syndrome and some from being a preemie baby. Love your channel and love you, too! ❣️👍😻😉❣️

These are cute. It definitely gives a coaster a new look. The pin cushion I like a lot too. I would like to make a pillow for the couch like that but I have absolutely zero clue how to change the measurements to make that work.

I have a question. If you want to make it bigger for a pillow, how do you know what size to make the small squares?
I am sure there is a mathematical way of determining this but I would use trial by error. Cut from paper a circle the size you want the pillow to be. Vivian had a 5.5 circle and 2.5 inch squares. So the square is approximately the diameter. I would cut some paper squares various sizes and start placing them to see which works best....8 inch circle, try 4 inch squares. 12 inch circle , try 6. Sorry I can’t be more exact.
