    Or, instead of carrying extra crap, use the blousing straps built into the trousers. I wore them this way every day from 1986 until I retired in 2007.

    When you adjust your pants in the end after fastening the velcro, are you adjusting the actual velcro straps and/or just your pants? If I did this, I assume I'm not actually pulling the velcro down to my boot. A reply would be lovely. I'm gonna give these a try.
