Demas Saul vol. 1 - Mi Wish

Demas Saul was a Yabob (Madang) singer of Tolai ancestry, who mostly sung in Tok Pisin or Yabob languages (though one of his albums, "Pasin Barata", mostly consists of songs in various languages of the Papuan Coast). This song is probably from his first album, recorded sometime around 1995 by Tumbuna Tracks Studio in Madang, and is sung in Tok Pisin, Yabob and English. In 2002, Demas rerecorded it on his album "Pasin Barata".
Lyrics (the Yabob parts are definitely incorrect, though I'm sure I got the first three words right)
Mesi manini, huleu itan sain, salim tingting long yu
Ples i kwait tru, mun i lait antap, kankan oli haun inu.
Chorus:
Mi wis mi stap wantaim yu, olsem selta (shelter) long rein
Like a shadow by your side.
